TONIGHT'S Love Island is set to be the most dramatic episode yet, with at least SIX Islanders being dumped from the villa in a bloodbath recoupling.

This year's iconic Casa Amor twist will come to an end this evening after 12 newbies joined the show last week in a bid to tempt the original Islanders to break up their couples.

The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that the upcoming instalment will be the most tense of the series so far, with several Islanders set to make game-changing decisions.

A source explained: "It's going to be the most dramatic moment of the series yet because the single Islanders get dumped from the villa.

"If they're not chosen, they get sent home - and at least six of them will be booted from the Island tonight.

"Viewers will be completely shell-shocked to see who goes, and it will no doubt have massive repercussions on the rest of the series.

"It is a cruel twist but that's life - you're either in a couple or you're not."

Fans at home have been left horrified in recent days after Curtis Pritchard and Michael Griffiths strayed from their original partners.

Michael, who was coupled up with Amber Gill, has been trying his luck with stunning newcomer Joanna Chimonides.

The pair have already kissed as part of a game, but a sneak peek at tonight's show has revealed that the two went on to share a real snog - while Amber has remained fiercely loyal to Michael over in Casa Amor.

Meanwhile, Curtis confessed that his head had been turned by newbie Jourdan Riane - even telling her that he'd choose her over air stewardess "half girlfriend" Amy Hart.

While Amy has realised that she "loves" the professional dancer during their time apart, Curtis has admitted that he isn't "physically attracted" to the pretty blonde, who he has been coupled up with since day one.

Danny Williams is also vying for a chance with Jourdan - leaving him and Curtis to battle it out for the model's affections.

Over at Casa Amor, some of the girls are choosing between two lads each, with singleton Maura Higgins entertaining new hunks Dennon Lewis and Marvin Brooks, and her fellow single lady Lucie Donlan is weighing up George Rains and Stevie Bradley.

Anna Vakili is besotted with newbie Ovie Soko - despite being coupled up with Jordan Hames, who has remained loyal throughout the twist.

The conclusion of Casa Amor is famed for causing shockwaves throughout the villa, with last year's series delivering an iconic stand-off between Georgia Steel and her former partner Josh Denzel.

Georgia was left devastated when he returned to the villa with new girl Kaz Crossley after she had stayed loyal to him throughout.

The twist also saw last year's winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham get rocked after Dani was shown a clip of the former pen salesman reuniting with ex-girlfriend Ellie over at the other villa.

The distress caused to Dani inspired thousands of concerned fans to report the show to Ofcom, with the episode becoming the most complained-about Love Island moment of all time.
