LOVE Island’s episode 26 was the most dramatic show to date, as the original cast members had to decide whether to remain in their couples or pick someone new.
The eyebrow raising decisions left a sour taste in a few mouths and there were lots of shocking revelations made - here's what went on.
What happened last night?
Islanders participated in a game of beer pong but as this is Love Island the game involved a lot of cheeky dares.
Players had to land their ball in their opponent’s cup and if they succeeded their rival had to drink the contents and complete a dare. Needless to say, the challenge got very interesting!
Maura Higgins was tasked with snogging the contestant she thought had the nicest lips and chose Marvin Brooks over Dennon Lewis.
The Irish grid girl, who has had both boys pining after her, later admitted in the Beach hut that she “could feel Dennon’s eyes burning”.
She added: “Dennon is really funny and all I do is have belly aches laughing and then Marvin is more serious but he’s so mature and I love that.”
Back in the main Villa, Curtis Pritchard planted one on Jourdan Riane when dared to kiss the person he fancied most.
The professional dancer’s decision to snog the model did not go unnoticed with his fellow Islanders and had some wondering whether his head had been turned.
His fellow cast members had reason to suspect something was amiss, as he confessed to being torn between Jourdan and Amy Hart.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, AJ Pritchard’s brother said: “I just need to be true to myself… I’m always thinking about other people.
“I went in for that kiss with Jourdan to try and give me clarity to see if she is the girl for me or if it’s Amy.”
Later in the snug, Curtis sought advice from Tommy Fury and revealed he was planning to take his relationship with Amy to the next level.
“How has my head been turned,” he told the boxer. “I was going to ask Amy to be my girlfriend… I’m in a tricky predicament.”
Surprisingly, the 20-year-old athlete had a good solution for the dancer’s uncertainty and encouraged him to tell Jourdan how he feels.
“Sooner or later you’re going to have to make a decision… If I was in your position, I would go straight to Jourdan and say ‘This is how I feel’ and she needs to tell you how she’s feeling in order for you to move on,” Tommy advised.
Taking on board what Tyson Fury’s sibling had to say, Curtis pulled the stunning actress for a quick chat.
Sitting on the bean bags and away from prying eyes, Curtis admitted to Jourdan: “I have a good relationship with Amy.
“I have a good connection with Amy, she’s a lovely young lady, she’s fascinating. I could see things working with her...
"But how can somebody go from being in a good relationship to feeling something completely different with somebody else in three days.”
He went on to explain how he had never looked twice at any of the previous newcomers, before flattering her with compliments.
He continued: “I’m shocked, really shocked. I didn’t think I would be turned. I’m thinking with my gut and my heart now.
"If a recoupling was in half an hour, I’d be going off my gut, I’d choose you.”
However, the Dancing with the Star professional was not the only one to have acted on initial attraction, as Michael Griffiths kissed Joanna Chimonides.
As the two chatted on the day beds, the firefighter told her: “I’ve come back into being myself just from you being here. You being here and being around you has made me more like myself.”
Meanwhile in Casa Amor, Molly-Mae Hague admitted to having doubts about whether Tommy would remain faithful.
Discussing their relationship with Amber Gill and Amy, she opined: “You’ve not been in a position where your guy has had his head turned and I have.
“I have been in a position where Maura came in, how quickly did Tommy’s head turn?
"I hadn’t admitted to him how I felt about him so that’s understandable, but at the same time his head was like ding, ding, ding, new girl, alert, alert.
"I have everything to worry about because realistically it's happened once it could very easily happen again.”
As the recoupling grew closer, Curtis questioned his romance with Amy and told Tommy: “I’ve been lying in mine and Amy’s relationship without even realising it. There are things wrong in our relationship.
“I haven’t been expressing my feelings properly… But there are things wrong with it. I don’t like how sometimes Amy doesn’t do things.
"I don’t like the fact that Amy is so negative sometimes when she doesn’t need to be because she is talented, she’s smart. I don’t like these things. The fact that Jourdan has those things straight away has influenced me and changed my mind.”
Elsewhere, Amy dropped a bombshell of her own and confessed to Molly-Mae that she is in love with Curtis.
“He’s my half boyfriend and my best friend rolled into one. I don’t think I’m going to tell him though, I’m happy with my little secret that I know I love him,” she revealed.
Later on in the night Caroline Flack appeared for the most brutal recoupling yet, with the Islanders having to decide to stay loyal or not.
Before Curtis was asked if he would stick with Amy or recouple, he admitted to the villa that his head was turned and that he had been lying to Amy about his true feelings, as Maura and Lucie Donlan looked on in shock.
But in the end, he chose to stick with Amy.
As the couple reunited, Amy looked overjoyed while Curtis appeared to look nervous, whispering to her, "We have to talk later, though".
Afterwards, when Anna Vakili walked in hand in hand with Ovie Soko, Jordan Hames looked crushed but said that he wouldn't hold the decision she made against her.
In happy news, Molly-Mae broke down in tears as she saw Tommy standing alone waiting for her after the boxer decided to stick with her instead of recoupling with any of the new girls.
However, it wasn't such good news for Amber. When Caroline asked Michael how the last days went for him, he said "It's opened up my eyes."
He decided to recouple with Joanna and went on to describe her as "beautiful" and as someone who would bring "good vibes to the villa."
Amber and Jordan remained as singles and it looks like the rest of the contestants will be dumped from the island in the next episode.
With one strong couple broken up and Curtis having doubts, it looks like there is plenty more drama to come.
