LOVE Island fans branded Lucie a snake this evening as she confessed her feelings to Tommy Fury - but he rebuffed her.

The blonde surfer felt pushed to admit how she really feels after an unexpected double dumping, leaving Tommy completely gobsmacked.

But those watching at home couldn't understand why she would betray her friend Molly-Mae and took to Twitter to comment on it.

One person wrote: "Snake antics from Lucie!! She needs to go!! Glad to see Tommy’s response to her!! #Loveisland."

Another wrote: ";This is why I don’t trust ANY girl who only has “boy” friends. What an absolute snake Lucie is 🐍🐍 #LoveIsland."

While someone else tweeted: "Lucie your a snake you are the definition why girls don’t trust when there men have a ‘girl friend’  #LoveIsland."

During tonight's episode Lucie was egged on by Anton to tell Tommy how she felt.

Pulling him aside, she said: "I would be up for what we had before. I know there could be something more."

Shutting her down, the boxer replied: "I have found everything I want in Molly -Mae."

Earlier in the episode Lucie told Anton: “I’ve been thinking about it since the challenge and I’ve just thought, I can’t do it, Molly is my friend and I don’t want to upset her and I don’t want him to go straight back to her.

"I just don’t want to do that but nights like tonight, if I’d have left and not said anything I would be absolutely gutted. If I don’t do it now, while I feel like I’ve got the courage...”

She added: “I respect Molly and I respect Tommy, I can see they clearly like each other…"

"But then I said to the girls, I have been best friends with guys and then I’ve dated one of them.

"It’s happened. I’m not going to lie. But at the same time when you get moments like this, you feel like you don’t know where you’re going to go and if I feel like I left and had never said anything, I would feel regret.”

Urging her to follow her heart, Anton said: “You should let him know, do it… I think it’s worth saying to him that you do feel a certain way. What’s the worst that can happen?

“You’ve taken a lot of risks in here, we could have gone home tonight, everything happens for a reason.”
