Love Island’s Tom slags Maura off behind her back AGAIN as he brands her ‘too loud, attention seeking and a bit cringe’
LOVE Island’s Tom has slagged Maura off behind her back AGAIN as he brands her "too loud, attention seeking and a bit cringe".
Despite only just getting himself out of the doghouse, tonight Tom threatens to head straight back in there.
A teaser from tonight's show reveals Maura shares a kiss with Tom after forgiving him for his offensive "all mouth" comment.
Having put the drama behind them and becoming coupled up, Maura says: “Your speech was so cute. "Did you not see I was trying not to smile too much. You did impress I have to say.”
She tells the Beach Hut: “Now we’re coupled up we’ll see how things go. I think myself and him are very excited to share a bed together for the first time.
"Have a little bit of a cuddle and see where things go. Things are looking really good at the moment.”
But the couple don't appear to be on the same page.
The next day, Tom opens up about his feelings towards Maura in a frank conversation with Jordan.
He admits: “You never know do you? If another girl comes in that makes a beeline for me and she’s fit
and she ticks all my boxes.
"The thing with me and Maura is, between me and you, she doesn’t necessarily tick all my boxes. She’s a bit OTT, she’s a bit too loud and attention-seeking and sometimes that’s not me.
"She makes me cringe a little bit. On the other side, I enjoy her banter, I enjoy the energy. So I can’t have it all my own way.”
Despite only being coupled up for 24 hours, the pair have had a tumultuous relationship.
Viewers were left stunned when Tom was overheard telling the lads that he wondered if Maura was "all mouth" following her sexually suggestive behaviour in the house.
Unfortunately for him, he was caught out by Maura who then withdrew Tom's invitation to spend the night in the hideaway.
In last night's episode Tom was seen desperately trying to make things right with the Irish beauty.
He fetched Maura's hairbrush, made her a coffee and did his best to convince her he didn't mean any harm.
Fans thought the couple were back on track after Tom gave a soppy speech during the recoupling when he chose to partner up with Maura.
But his U-turn today could spell the end for their budding romance - especially as 12 more singletons are preparing to enter the villa.
For the first time in the show's history. the Love Island girls will move to Casa Amor to enjoy a trip away from their partners.
A TV source told The Sun: “In an epic plot twist the female Islanders will head to Casa Amor while the boys stay put at the main villa.
“The finer details are still being discussed with producers but the plan is for all the Islanders to leave the main villa in four Land Rovers.
“The girls will travel to Casa Amor but the boys will be redirected back to the villa.”
