LOVE Island's Lucie Donlan shocked viewers during tonight's show after admitting she's open to meeting someone else - despite her romance with Joe Garratt.

Joe left the villa last week after his fellow islanders decided he and Lucie were the least-compatible couple.

And it seems Lucie agrees - as she told her villa pals that she won't steer clear of any potential suitors.

She said: "Joe is a proper city party boy, and I'm completely the opposite - but I liked him, and he liked me.

"Imagine if I left here and that surf guy walked through the door, I'd be gutted! I'd be open to getting know him, and I feel guilty for saying it as I do like Joe."

Viewers at home couldn't believe what was coming out of Lucie's mouth and took to Twitter to make their feelings known.

It comes after Joe told The Sun Online that he’ll confront Lucie if she gets with anyone else in the villa because they had vowed to wait for each other.
He told us: “I would love to get more time with Lucy in there. It is such an amazing experience and when you’re doing it with someone you care about its just perfect.

“I would never rule out the possibility of going back in. I met somebody who I fell for so I have already won that in that sense. I would love to go back in and see her. I think that would be really nice and I think she would love that.”

When asked how he would react to Lucie being with another man, Joe – who said he would have walked if he was in Lucie’s shoes - seemed convinced it wouldn’t be an issue because she wouldn’t stray.

“I will always support Lucie, I had such a good time with her in there,” he insisted.

“I would love to think she can have experience in there and then we can have a future when she comes out. That is the dream.

"I will stay true to myself and wait to see how it all plays out and hopefully we can reunite and build a future."

He continued: “I would have found it really hard without her in there so I would have left but I spoke to her and she is there for an experience as well.

"As I said, I will wait and hopefully we can reunite when she comes out. I don’t want her to quit.”
