CURTIS Pritchard left Amy Hart utterly embarrassed when he gave newcomer Arabella Chi a higher score during an intense Love Island kissing challenge.

Meanwhile, the drama between Yewande Biala and Arabella continued to escalate, with both women feuding over Danny Williams - but what else occurred?

What happened in last night's episode?

Maura Higgins informed her fellow islanders that they’d be taking part in a new challenge, which would see the boys rate each girl based on their kissing skills.

The tricky part was that the boys were blindfolded, meaning that they couldn’t see who was kissing them and subsequently who they were giving the most points to.

Amy, who appeared confident that Curtis would give her a high score, was stunned to learn that the ballroom dancer had only given her seven out of 10 points before awarding Arabella with full marks right after.

Furious with her result, Amy ranted in the Beach Hut: “Curtis gave supermodel Arabella a ten because it was a great connection. And he gave me a seven so that’s not cool.”

It was no different with Yewande, who watched the model from London lock lips with her beau Danny Williams.

Once the challenge was over and Curtis was informed about his mishap, the boys teased him while Amy seemed very irritated by the entire situation.

Luckily for Curtis, he was able to redeem himself after receiving a text, which read: “Amy and Curtis. You are going on a date. Please get ready to leave the villa. #turnthatsevenintoaten.”

During their date, the former Strictly star did his best to win Amy over, and it wasn’t long before she forgave him, adding that she doesn’t “like to be made to look stupid. My pride was hurt a bit.”

Elsewhere, Yewande had confided in some of the girls by telling them that she felt strongly about her romance with Danny, revealing how the couple shared their first kiss in bed the night prior.

But Arabella - clearly confused about her own standpoint - confronted the model from Hull to figure out where things were headed for the two of them if he was to move forward with Yewande.

“I’m going to have to see whether it continues. But I can’t ignore how good our date was,” the 21-year-old said.

When Arabella mentioned that his chemistry with Yewande should’ve developed from day one, Danny smiled and responded: “Like what it is with me and you?”

After Yewande noticed Danny and Arabella together later in the day, Yewande noted to Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill that she needed to make her presence known given that she was not going to let the blonde bombshell get in the way of her pairing with her man.

“I’m going to sit on you because I want to,” Yewande told Danny while Arabella’s facial expression showed she felt extremely awkward being in their presence.

Arabella made sure to have a word with her newfound enemy as the day went by, determined to get an answer from Yewande regarding her on-off connection with Danny, but the scientist seemed puzzled by the question.

Arabella gushed: “Today, both of us [Arabella & Danny] were saying that we can’t deny a connection.

“So, from my point of view I think he is telling you one thing and me one thing. He feels that he still wants to get to know me.

"Earlier I was chatting with him on the bean bags and you just came and sat on him. I just feel like it’s a bit territorial.”

Anton Danyluk, who has also shown interest in getting to know Arabella, soon realised that the model’s eyes are firmly stuck on Danny.

The conversation ended with absolutely nothing being resolved; Yewande felt offended that Arabella was questioning her romance with her Love Island partner while the 28-year-old mentioned she’s “not just going to go for a single guy because he is single.”

Will the two find a way to squash their differences? Stay tuned.
