Love Island’s Sherif was kicked off for pleasuring himself in the hot tub claims Celebs Go Dating star
LOVE Island's Sherif Lanre was removed from the show for pleasuring himself in the hot tub, a Celebs Go Dating star claims a TV boss told her.
London Hughes today tweeted: "I got told by a tv exec that Sherif got kicked off of #LoveIsland for w**king in the jacuzzi."
The 30-year-old added: "You lot have a great Thursday x."
ITV has not revealed the reason for the chef's sudden departure from the show, though Sherif said in a statement: "I broke villa rules."
Despite masturbation being one of the show's no-nos, there is no suggestion the 20-year-old star broke that particular rule.
One fan pointed out to stand-up comedian London that the jacuzzi, which is in the Hideaway, would have been off limits for the Islanders.
She replied: "Since Kem revealed on This Morning, that they all leave the Villa and go to the beach on Saturday’s...
"I now believe that anything is possible on that island 🤷🏽♀️."
Former CBBC presenter London appeared in the fourth series of Celebs Go Dating in 2018, alongside Gemma Collins and late Love Island star Mike Thalassitis.
However, neither she nor any of the celebs that year found lasting love.
Meanwhile, as The Sun Online revealed earlier Sharif has been busy talking to high-powered agents ahead of speaking about what happened on the show.
A source explained: "Sherif has been meeting with some top agents today and he is hoping that they will be able to guide him in getting the truth out there.
"He is desperate for viewers to know what really happened and to stop the speculation - he wants to tell the full story and explain his side of things.
"Sherif just wants to get everything off his chest so that he can move on from the scandal."
They added: "Sherif has been telling mates that he wants to enjoy the perks following his Love Island stint and is making a bid for fame.
"Once he settles on a celeb agent he'll start the process - kicking off with what really went down in the villa."
Sherif was spotted attempting to go incognito as he stepped out in London earlier today.
The reality star sported a baseball cap and sunglasses, looking stony-faced as he wandered down the rainy streets.
Speaking in a statement, Sherif previously said of his Love Island exit: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers it was best for me to leave.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from."
