LOVE Island's Maura Higgins underwent a dramatic transformation before entering the villa.

Before and after pictures show just how different the 28-year-old model and ring girl looks - prompting many to speculate over whether she's had plastic surgery.

Maura strutted into the villa with her plumped-up lips pouting and her enviable curves spilling out of her fitted white dress.

But posing in photos taken in April 2012 Maura looks remarkably different.

Her lips are thinner and her natural slim body shape is revealed.

The stunner has enjoyed a successful modelling career and even starred in a music video with One Direction's Liam Payne.

Recent snaps of Maura show off her plumped up lips, but she's not always had a stand-out pout.

Her early modelling shots - taken when she was 21 - reveal her thinner lips, smaller boobs and flatter bum.

Maura, from County Longford, Ireland, was unlucky in love in her first few weeks in the villa.

First she made her feelings for Tommy Fury clear but he passed her over in favour of Molly-Mae Hague.

She then had a brief fling with Tom Walker - but he made a hash of it after a disrespectful comment before a date in the Hideaway.

And after returning from Casa Amor with Marvin Brooks, she finally got her man in Curtis Pritchard - despite promising not to split him and Amy Hart up when she first went into the villa.

In recent episodes viewers have seen her grow closer to the ballroom dancer and they've shared some steamy nights in bed - with fans convinced they've had sex.
