CURTIS Pritchard has vowed not to have sex on TV in case it ruins his chances of landing a job on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Love Island hunk, 23, who was a professional dancer in 2017 and 2018 on Dancing with the Stars in Ireland and whose brother AJ is a professional on the BBC1 show, says he will resist being intimate as it’s a “private matter” – but he’s still up for having snogs on screen.
Speaking in Majorca ahead of his time in the villa, he said: “Joining Strictly is an opportunity that I would never turn down but who knows.
“I won’t be having sex on TV – that’s a private matter, if somebody does that, that’s what they want to do but it’s not what I would like to do.
“I feel it’s a very private matter and should be done behind closed doors, not for the world to see. It should be between you and your loved one.
“Kisses are fine. Everything further than that, it should be a private matter.”
Love Island host Caroline Flack enjoyed a fling with AJ after the pair were caught passionately kissing at this year’s National Television Awards.
And Curtis has revealed he “approves” of his brother’s liaison with Caroline, who won Strictly in 2014.
He said: “Yes, I would approve if that’s what AJ wants. She actually has [won Strictly] but dancing doesn’t matter to us if somebody can dance or can’t dance.
“AJ is super excited for me joining Love Island, literally over the moon for me.
“As a family we are supportive whatever we do, my parents were supportive of me and want the best for me and want me to do great in it.
“They want me to go out there and be myself, they said, ‘Don’t do what everyone says, go out there and do what your heart says, find someone who you really like and take it from there'.”
Curtis admitted to cheating on his only serious girlfriend in a move that he still regrets and is ashamed by.
His former flame was also his dance and business partner but their relationship ended after Curtis was unfaithful.
He said: "I’ve had one relationship before and I did cheat on her – and it was the worst thing I could have ever done, to make someone else feel how that makes someone feel.
MORE FROM LOVE ISLAND
"It wasn’t manly, it wasn’t a strong thing to do and I learnt a lot from it. I regret doing it for how it made her feel.
"I always believe if you do something and it’s not the correct thing, if you learn from it it’s not necessarily a bad thing, but if you do something and don’t learn from it then it’s a bad thing.
"I will never cheat, never, ever again. In the villa I will make it clear if it looks like something is going to go the opposite way."
