Love Island’s Kady McDermott is forcing Myles Barnett to propose in the next two years and they’re in talks for their own show after Towie axe
The couple have been inseparable since meeting eight months ago
KADY McDermott is forcing her boyfriend Myles Barnett to propose in the next two years.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, the Love Island star said marriage is on the cards for the couple who are also hoping to land their own reality show.
The pair were axed from The Only Way is Essex last series in a massive shake-up of the show.
Kady and Myles got together soon after his break-up with co-star Courtney Green and have been inseparable ever since.
She told us: "I’ve said to him he has to propose within the next two years.
"I’d like to get married, but if anything I think he’s more forward with it all.
"Believe it or not, I actually get embarrassed quite easily like with the public. I said to him that If he proposed to me it would have to be in private, I would not want any people around.
"I just get too embarrassed.
"He’s sweet bless him, he’s like a different person."
Myles was involved in controversies in the show when he called Courtney a "dirty dog" and a "s**g".
But Kady says he's turned over a new leaf since meeting her and leaving Towie. The pair have no plans to return.
"Towie was Myles' thing, it wasn’t mine", she said.
"He didn’t want to do it anymore so I respect that.
"To be honest, the three or four episodes I did, I didn’t think how it would be.
"Me and Myles are just so much better without that, so that’s all that matters, happiness comes first."
Despite marriage plans after eight months together, Kady wants to wait at least five years to have children.
She added: "People do say it’s too soon to have moved in together, but I feel like you can’t really judge anyone’s path in life.
"When is the right time to do anything really? Some have kids when they’re 18. Everyone’s different.
"The thing is with me and Myles, we just clicked, and we both wanted to buy our own place, and we thought do you know what why don’t we just do it together.
"We’ve not even had an argument since we’ve been together, we just get on."
Not only have the couple moved in together, but they've also taken on a challenging renovation project.
The couple are focused on transforming a run-down bungalow into a five-bedroom house.

They're now in talks to make it into a documentary.
"I’m very picky," admits Kady.
"I wanted somewhere that I could make my own.
"We’ve talked about documenting our bungalow project. It’s quite a big renovation on it, but it's early days.
"We’d definitely do a show together, but only if it was right.
"We just don’t want something toxic on our relationship. I don’t want to get involved in that stuff."
