Love Island fans convinced Mike and Priscilla’s safari date is ‘fake’ after they get VERY close to pride of lions
LOVE Island fans are convinced Mike and Priscilla's safari date is "fake" after they get VERY close to a pack of lions.
The remaining Islanders got to enjoy a special date each on last night's episode but one particular scene raised fans' eyebrows.
Mike and Priscilla were invited on a safari where they got to see elephants, rhinos and even parked up beside a pride of lions.
Mike said: "Woah, woah woah!" before looking squeamish.
Priscilla, slightly more brave, continued: "We are in the lion's den! I don't want to look at it. Oh my god. I feel like this one just had babies."
The lion makes a noise and they both squeal, before telling each other to be quiet.
However, fans remain unconvinced about their encounter, with some even suggesting the safari was fake.
One person said: "Anyone else think Mike & Priscilla’s date was near a green screen?! The views looked completely fake and when it planned out, they were on the flat but close up, they were at the top of a load of rocks #LoveIsland"
Another added: "am I the only one who thinks mike and Priscilla’s date looked so fake? like I’m sure it probably wasn’t, but it looked like it"
A third remarked: "Is it just me or did mike and Pricilla’s date look so fake/staged?? Looked like they were driving in a field and all animals they saw looked pre-recorded."
However, a show insider told The Sun Online the lions were, in fact, real.
The pair heated up their relationship after the safari as Mike finally asked Priscilla to be his girlfriend.
Mike told her: "There's no other person that I could definitely see myself with and, for me, it would be an honour if I could call you my girlfriend."
Priscilla gleefully replied: "Yeah, without a shadow of a doubt."
And the two lovebirds sealed the deal with a passionate kiss.
Back in the Beach Hut, a thrilled Priscilla said: "He couldn't have done it in a better, more romantic way. He put a smile on this face."
