Love Island’s Sophie says sister Rochelle gave Connor the ‘seal of approval’ but spent the night in separate hotel rooms
LOVE Island's Sophie Piper has revealed that her famous sister Rochelle Humes has given Connor Durman her "seal of approval".
She exclusively tells The Sun Online that her sisters have already met her villa love interest and think he's "lovely".
Sophie has only been back in the country a couple of days after being booted out of the villa with Wallace on Sunday.
But despite Rochelle keeping quiet about her sister's Love Island appearance on social media and while on TV on This Morning, she was keen to meet the man that has her sister's heart.
"They had a brief meeting with Connor yesterday and they said he was lovely,"; Sophie tells us of the meeting with Rochelle and Lilli.
But although he's already met the family, the pair stayed in "separate hotels" last night after appearing on Aftersun together.
And the couple are taking things slow by planning to go on a proper first date together.
"We’re yet to have a first date," she says.
"Obviously we’ve both been so busy, but he’s coming back down to London tomorrow so hopefully I’ll see him again then."
Meanwhile, away from her own love life, Sophie had plenty to say about the remaining couples in the villa - especially Mike Boateng who tried to crack on with her after Connor left.
"There’s been questions that Mike is playing a game because he sort of said he was interested in a quite a few people in a short space of time since breaking things off with Leanne," she said.
"I don’t think he’s in it for the money," she reasoned.
"I don’t think he's doing it from a malicious place, I think he just wants to stay in the villa."
Which is something Sophie can relate to as she was desperate to stay in the villa herself after Connor left - something he wasn't happy about and might have made their reunion on Monday night a little awkward.
"It was really weird," she said.
"I got to have a couple of minutes with him prior to being on stage, so it definitely made things better.

"It was so nice to see him and I definitely did miss him."
But they are yet to make their relationship official, and admitted: "We haven’t spoken about it yet, to be honest.
"We’re just seeing how things go."
