LOVE Island fans have already been driven mad by the word "like" and we're only two days in to the new series.

Twins Jess and Eve Gale were two of the biggest offenders of the word, throwing it around liberally throughout their conversation with Mike Boateng.

As the pair pulled Mike for a chat, Jess began: "We've literally got the same shorts, like, obviously mine aren't swimming shorts but, like, I've got, like, them as pyjamas."

She then told Mike that they are "feeling good, like" before the conversation turned to how the islanders can tell the difference between the pair.

Jess has different coloured eyes, and she told Mike: "It's quite subtle, like, no one says it to me, like, when you first tell people "oh do you have two different coloured eyes?" but when I tell people, like..."

Eve wasn't going to allow Jess to be the only one to annoy viewers though, as she spoke to Mike about the upcoming twist.

"Everyone is saying that, like, no one is really grafting... everyone is like... but that's the thing I feel like there is no need for me to be shouting across the villa who I like, you know what I mean?"

She added: "No one has said, like, 'oh yeah I really like this guy', like, like I am settling, or 'I would be upset if we got broken up', so what can I do?"

The twins - and Mike's - choice of language is really upsetting those at home though, with many venting their frustrations over social media.

"I'm about 4 minutes in to #LoveIsland and I've heard the word "like" about 80 times," shared one irate fan, adding: "One of them said a sentence of 6 words and 3 of them were like."
