The reality star's world came crumbling down in March last year when her Love Island pal Mike Thalassitis committed suicide.

During the tough time the TV personality revealed to The Sun Online that she was struggling to cope with all of the online abuse that she was receiving and had to start counselling to deal with the trolls.

“It’s been really difficult to be honest. It’s hard when you’re in the spotlight, because people see you happy on Instagram and they’re like why are you happy, are you not sad about Mike anymore?

“It’s been something that’s been really difficult; I’ve been getting quite a lot of hate about it which has been really, really upsetting."

"I’m looking to get some counselling, I’m on the mend," she added.

However, Elliot, who is signed to W Models Management, was a massive support system to the star as she came to terms with the death of her close friend.

He attended the reality star's funeral hand in hand with Montana and visited Mike's restaurant The Skillet soon after it opened with her.

As he helped his girlfriend come to terms with her loss, Elliot spoke out about mental health on his social media platform and said: "The biggest killer of men under 40 is suicide. Mental health ain’t no joke."

The pair kept their relationship under wraps until Elliot went Instagram official with a saucy snap of the swimwear brand owner back in 2018.

"Merry Christmas @motanarosebrown1," he captioned the post.

Despite their mutual interest in fitness and travelling the two have now called it a day and gone their separate ways.

Montana had no comment when contacted by The Sun Online.
