Love Island’s Arabella reveals she’s now friends with former rival Yewande
LOVE Island bombshell Arabella Chi has told how she’s now good friends with her former rival Yewande Biala.
The 28-year-old model caused a stir in the villa after she arrived on the hit reality series and struck up a romance with fellow model, Danny Williams.
Although Danny was linked at the time, Arabella told how there’s no bad blood between her and the scientist.
She said: “I didn’t think she was cold to me. From her point of view, it must have been hard. Technically, it’s like I came in and booted her off the show.
"It’s not like that but it was a storyline. I obviously liked Danny and Danny then chose me which was tough for her because she then went out.
“I don’t think she was cold towards me, I do think she was cold towards Danny. We had already cleared the air, we were fine. I see her all the time at events and we’re so sound now.”
LanaiBLO ambassador Arabella also told how she was delighted to see Maura Higgins .
She said: “I’m so glad they went official. I’m so glad they waited. I feel they could easily have said ‘We got to the final, maybe we’ll make it official’.
“I feel they’ve done it in their own timescale which is really good. I feel it’s made them stronger.
"They haven’t just done what they feel people think they should do. They’ve taken time and now they’re like ‘OK we’re really into this’. I think it’s really good they did that.”
Since leaving the show in June after just one week in the villa, Arabella .
At 21, the star is seven years her junior but Arabella told how she doesn’t care about the age difference.
She said: “I feel like everyone in there is really attractive, but when you get to know people you’re drawn to certain people.
“The first episode of Love Island that I watched after I left the villa, Michael said to Danny, ‘We just felt with the age it wouldn’t work...’ which was why they vote for me to leave. And I’m with Wes now!
“Obviously the age doesn’t bother me. They obviously thought well how is that going to work on the outside world. Age is just a number!
“The first time I met Wes he slid into my DMs. Well he actually slid in ages ago, before the show, in April.
“I was like ‘Nice try mate’. I remember reading it and saying ‘nah, I wonder how many girls you’ve sent it to’.
“Then after I appeared on After Sun he got in touch and said you did great and I thought he was sweet. Then I was going to go with his management so we were talking about that.”

She said: “I love it here. Lots of people have come up to me and been really nice. I love LanaiBLO products, the hairdresser I get my hair done in use them and they’re so strong and so good.”
