I’m a Celebrity bosses ‘want Holly Willoughby BACK next year even if Ant McPartlin returns’- after she insisted her stint was strictly a one-off

I’M a Celebrity producers are said want Holly Willoughby to return next year – even though she’s insisted she would only appear this year as a one-off.

Insiders told The Daily Star bosses are “desperate” to get Holly on board – and are even considering have having a trio of presenters if Ant McPartlin returns next year.

The show’s ratings have been at their highest ever this year and are up by two million per episode – with Holly thought to be the reason behind this.

A source told the : “Holly has done a great job this series. All of the execs have absolutely loved having her on the show.

“Many presenters would have crumbled under the pressure of joining such a big show, but Holly stepped up to the plate. The top people at ITV are now really keen to get her back next year.”

The source also said that bosses have had a meeting about getting Holly back and will be making her an offer as early as March next year.

Holly was brought in as a stand-in for Ant after he took a break from TV over a battle with painkillers and alcohol.

However being in Australia for five weeks may get in the way of Holly saying yes.

The source added: “She has her family to think about. And she also has her commitments at This Morning to think about.”

Philip Schofield revealed earlier this week that he is missing his "work wife" - but said that she won't be back.

Speaking to the , Phillip, 56, insisted that 37-year-old Holly's stint down under is only a "caretaker role" and that she won't be returning.

He explained: "Holly has been a triumph in the jungle.
"I am so pleased because it's worked out so well for Dec in what was a tricky situation.

"It was always going to be a difficult series for Dec so I was happy Holly was able to step in."

Sun Online Showbiz revealed earlier this week that Ant was removed from the show's WhatsApp group chat so he could "focus on recovery".

Holly’s This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield has said Ant is not keeping up to date with the goings on in Australia, where the reality show is filmed, by text or over the phone with Phil, Holly and Dec as he usually does.

When asked if he had been in contact with good friend Ant, Phil told The Mirror: “I think Ant is concentrating on himself and so, no, we’re all letting him get well."
