A WRIGHT LOCK-UP

I’m A Celeb’s Ian Wright ‘in tears’ as most cherished possessions are flogged on eBay in ‘Storage Wars’ sell-off

I’M A Celebrity’s Ian Wright is at the centre of an extraordinary row which has seen his most cherished possessions being flogged on eBay.

Among the 300 mementos are his 1992 Premier League Golden Boot — the first ever issued — 200 photos and his This Is Your Life red book.

The stash, kept in a storage unit in Orlando, US, was snapped up after Wrighty’s ex-wife Deborah reportedly stopped paying the rental fee.

The footie legend, paid £400,000 to appear on the ITV show, has desperately been trying to retrieve the prized mementos worth almost £300,000.

But church worker Kurt Wojchiechowski, 24, who bought the lot for peanuts, is now flogging it all for £115,000.

He told the Sun on Sunday: "I gave him multiple opportunities to buy it back already. Now all his stuff is securely locked away and I am waiting for the right moment to sell it. It feels like now is the time.

“Hopefully Ian will win I’m A Celebrity and I’ll get loads of offers.”

Wrighty, 56, who played for Crystal Palace, Arsenal and England, is said to be “in tears” over the loss.

He offered to buy back his stuff but his price was too low for Kurt, who lives in Wisconsin.

A source said: “Ian’s footballing life was in that storage facility — everything that reminded him of his playing days.

"He’s fuming that his items could be scattered around the world."

Kurt’s “goldmine” find came as a result of Wright’s split from ex-Debbie.

The pair were married from 1993 to 2004 and she rented a lock-up in Orlando, Florida after their split.

But payments were not made and the unit was eventually seized by local officials and sold off to a man in Florida two years ago, who Kurt bought the lot from.

The collection is made up of hundreds of items including 235 photos, 24 pictures, 13 balls, 12 trophies and 10 hats.

Under US law, goods left in repossessed storage units transfer to the new owner.

The items are available for sale on eBay .
