Melinda Messenger splits from First Dates boyfriend Chris Harding after eight months following a row

MELINDA Messenger has split from her boyfriend Chris Harding, who she met on Celebrity First Dates.

The former Page Three model and the coffee shop boss called it a day after "one row" eight months after meeting on the Channel 4 show, with Chris revealing he "never wants to kiss her again".

A source said: “Melinda was talking marriage, then they had one row and split.

“She apparently behaved appallingly and considering she’s training as therapist and setting herself up as a dating expert it’s all a bit strange.”

Chris discussed the split on Instagram when he shared a picture of  a friend kissing him on the cheek.

He captioned the picture: "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with!" The single most hideous experience of my life being kissed by my Mate Trendy!!"

When one fan commented: “Kiss Melinda again.... she’s much prettier than ya friend!”, he replied: “Nope never ever again”.

In a bizarre twist, during their episode it turned out that Chris had been the photographer at Melinda’s wedding to her ex-husband Wayne Roberts.

The pair gushed about each other on Loose Women in November, revealing they had introduced each other to their kids.

She said: "We've met each other's kids... We said I love you pretty early on."

When asked how the kids got on, Chris replied: "It was effortless. Really easy."

Chris lives in Cornwall and Melinda has been travelling down to visit him - and they even spent a weekend camping.

However, Chris hadmitted that he has never been married and wasn't keen on the idea of walking down the aisle.

He said : "I've never been married. I've never been the marrying time, I think you can stay with someone without getting married."
