Host Stephen Mulhern revealed the lads will be playing the show on the series spin-off Britain's Got More Talent

ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will go back to their kids TV roots and play a game of SM:TV classic Wonky Donkey on the new series of Britain’s Got Talent.

Host Stephen Mulhern revealed the lads will be playing the show on the series spin-off Britain’s Got More Talent.

He says: “We’ve got some of the funniest stuff.
“With Ant and Dec, we’ve brought back Wonky Donkey from SMTV:Live.
“It’s bizarre seeing them play their own game!

The segment featured callers having to name in two words what they saw in front of them, with Dec getting increasingly frustrated when contestants got the answer wrong.

Ant and Dec presented the Saturday morning TV show with Cat Deeley from 1998 to 2003 with the programme attracting 2.5 million viewers at the height of its popularity.

Earlier this year, the trio were said to be eager to work on a revival of the show prior to Ant returning to rehab after being charged with drink-driving.

Ant told : “We can tell you it’s happening, it definitely happening, I’m on board, Dec’s on board, Cat’s on board.

“A lot of the old team are getting back together.
