MARNIE Simpson is going to be the star of the next series of Ex On The Beach, The Sun Online can exclusively reveal.

The Geordie Shore star is already in Spain filming for the drama-filled MTV show, which sees exes emerge from the sea to come face-to-face with their chequered pasts, and quite literally make love and war in front of the cameras.

An insider revealed: “Marnie’s signed up and is filming out in Spain right now.

“The producers have taken her phone away which is why the only things that have been showing up on her social media are scheduled tweets for the products she promotes and retweets for her book.”

The 25-year-old is no stranger to playing out her love life and all its dramas in front of the cameras and admitted to BANG in 2015: "Yeah, I would definitely do [EOTB]. I've got a lot of exes though, I don't think the beach is big enough.”

And there could be a whole host of stars emerging from the sea…

Exes include a high-profile romance with Lewis Bloor who she met in Celebrity Big Brother last year, but dumped in him in February after he cheated on her on Valentine’s Day.

Marnie also had an on-off relationship her Geordie Shore castmate Aaron Chalmers and was engaged to Towie’s Ricky Rayment, with the pair splitting in 2015 after he couldn’t deal with her partying ways.

EOTB will be a dream gig for Marnie, in January she told The Sun: "If I was single, I would definitely, definitely, definitely do Ex On The Beach.

"I think it's right up my street.

"I've always been the kind of girl who likes to go on dates and likes being wined and dined... and I am a bit of a drama queen so I would just do it."

A representative for Marnie declined to comment.
