Gwen Stefani reunites with No Doubt and reveals tour plans after 10 years of fans begging the singer to return to band
GWEN Stefani has casually announced that she will be rejoining her band No Doubt on tour.
Gwen, 54, appeared in a new video that was shared on No Doubt's social media platforms.
In the video, posted on X and Instagram, the pop singer was looking through a bunch of nostalgic items and memories from her time with the band.
She started by showing off the original artwork made for No Doubt's Beacon Street collection.
The artwork was four different collages made from photos of the band at various times.
While pointing at the poster, Gwen said: "I actually did this actual collage myself."
She continued: "This is actually bringing back so many memories.
"I'm going to text Tony right now," referring to Tony Kanal the bassist from the band.
The video then jumped to a group video chat of everyone from the band including Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont.
Quickly after, they all agreed: "We should do a show."
The video ended with a giant red question mark in the middle of a black screen.
No Doubt is getting the band back together and they'll be playing an upcoming show at this year's Coachella.
DREAM COME TRUE
In the comment section of the video on X, No Doubt fans went wild over the announcement.
"Oh my God. Now why was I just asking for a No Doubt reunion a month ago? Did I manifest this?" one excited person asked.
"I'm in tears! I love you guys so much please go on tour," gushed another.
A third wrote: "I was just about to go to sleep!!! Going straight down a No Doubt rabbit hole. I never thought it would happen. I’m buzzing! Welcome Back!"
"What a tease. At last! The return of No Doubt! Yes!" commented a fan.
"I've waited so long for this day! So excited for you guys! Soooo going to be there, love you, guys," said a fifth.
The California band's last album was Push and Shove in 2012, and they hadn't been active since 2015 with Gwen pursuing a solo career and other ventures.
However, throughout their lengthy hiatus fans were begging Gwen to get back with her bandmates.
AWAY FROM BLAKE
Gwen is already very busy after she scored a legendary-level gig this year.
The hitmaker was selected to perform at the 2024 NFL Super Bowl LVIII, which will be happening in February.
Although this will mean she'll be apart from her country music star husband Blake Shelton, 47, that won't stop her from taking big-time business opportunities.
For this year's Super Bowl, Gwen will perform at the game's TikTok Tailgate, Variety reported Friday.
The Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate is the pregame celebration before the actual championship game.
NFL special guests and TikTok creators will also be at the TikTok Tailgate alongside the No Doubt frontwoman.
