Mystery as Katie Price tells fans she ‘can’t wait to leave for Celebrity Big Brother’ on Instagram – after denying she was set to take part
KATIE Price has told fans she's headed for Celebrity Big Brother - just days after denying she was involved in the new series of the show.
The mum-of-five - currently embracing a new life of sobriety after stripping off in the ladies toilets at a corporate Christmas party - shared her plans for the next few hours on her Instagram account.
Along with a video of a roaring log fire, she wrote: "About to go riding can't wait to come back in next to the fire before I leave for cbb tonight."
Fans quickly shared their hopes that 'The Pricey' was taking part in the All Stars vs New Stars series that kicks off at 9pm.
One wrote: "I wish u was going bk in."
Another added: "She's going back in CBB? Read the caption!!"
However, just three days ago it was a VERY different story when Katie slammed reports that she had signed up to take part in the show.
She wrote on Twitter: "All theses stories saying I'm going into big brother again is absolute rubbish ! I WON the show so nothing to prove nothing to gain."
On Saturday, producers shared a mysterious clip teasing the identity of a female housemate, and viewers became convinced the mystery woman is Katie.
The video which shows a busty woman with long hair in silhouette was posted to the CBB Twitter account.
The only clues were hints about struggles with "trolls" and "marriage" troubles.
A caption posted with the video explained: ";Trolls beware! This mystery #CBB housemate is having none of it.
"Any idea who this could be?"
Fans flocked to Twitter to give their opinion, and many are adamant the video features Katie.
One wrote: "@bbuk that is so @MissKatiePrice we all know she's going into the #CBB house..."
Another added: "@bbuk big curly hair, boobs, marriage & trolls, Katie Price I think..."
A fan guessed: "@bbuk Katie Price obviously..."
Other suggestions included Mariah Carey, Nicola McLean and even Beyonce.
Fans fans suspect the references to marriage may be the strongest hint yet that the mystery woman is Katie as she has been having marital problems with third husband Kieran Hayler.
She has struggled to forgive him for cheating on her with her best friend, and the star even took time off from her Loose Women hosting job to work on her marriage.
But Katie has now spoken out to insist she will not be returning to the house a year after winning the title.
In a post on Twitter, she wrote: "All theses stories saying I'm going into big brother again is absolute rubbish !
"I WON the show so nothing to prove nothing to gain."
Katie recently insisted she would love the chance to go back into the house as her previous stint on the show in 2015 was marred by a botched boob job.
She told fans: “It’s only rumours by I would do big brother again now I’m heathy [sic].”
Katie even appeared to start her own campaign, ending her tweet with: “#getpriceyincbb.”
