Travis urges fans to 'stop' making assumptions

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker recently told fans to "stop it" in an interview with the when they speculated that he was the cause of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian's rivalry.

Travis told the LA Times that what his flirtation with Kim over a decade ago doesn’t mean there’s anything between them. “It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer,'” he said.

“I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me. That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on.”

He added: “You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous,” he said.

“It takes a little piece of my life every time I fly,” Travis said.

He continued: “The amount of stress and anxiety it causes is just unbearable. It brings up all this old trauma, and sometimes I’m like, ‘Is this worth it?’ But I don’t like anything having a hold on me, either — I don’t like being afraid, and I don’t like having things from my past control my future.”

For the first time since the 2008 plane tragedy that claimed the lives of four other passengers and left Travis with third-degree burns over 65% of his body, Travis took a flight with the Kardashians star in August 2021. The pair visited Cabo San Lucas.

Travis says Kourtney helped him get over fear of flying

Travis Barker is speaking candidly about the impact of Kourtney Kardashian's support.

The 47-year-old drummer for Blink-182 spoke out in a recent interview that was published on Sunday in the Los Angeles Times about how his 44-year-old wife has made it possible for him to travel for the first time since he survived an aircraft disaster in 2008.

“I think the power of love really helped me,” he told the LA Times. “Kourt made it so I fly, my kids fly now. She healed us.”

First wedding in Las Vegas

Kourtney and Travis had unofficially married at a Las Vegas chapel with a handful of friends at 2 am – hours after the Blink-182 rocker performed at the 2022 Grammys.

The mom of three later admitted they were not yet legally married as they couldn’t get a marriage license at that time in the morning.

A source close to the stars told The Sun that indeed, the event was held “just for fun” and not official.
