In her , Jessica stated: "It is with my heavy heart and overwhelming sadness that I share the news of the passing of my beloved husband."

Jessica continued: "Aaron was not only an incredibly accomplished drummer admired by many for his unparalleled passion for music, but he was also a devoted father to our precious son, August."

She concluded: "Please remember Aaron for the incredible person he was and the amazing music he brought into the world.

"At this time, we ask for privacy as we work our way through this."

Ariana, 30, commented on the lengthy message: "Heartbroken.

"My condolences to you all. I love you guys, and I am so sorry."

The pop singer closed: "My heart is with you."

Aaron's tragic death came after the Thank U Next hitmaker finalized the end of her marriage to ex-husband Dalton Gomez.

At the beginning of October, the star went through the legal process once the divorce papers were filed in court.

The divorce was cut and dry due to an iron-clad prenuptial agreement between the former couple, according to .

The Don't Look Up actress wrote her ex a check for $1,250,000, which will be completely tax-free.

Daton will be getting all of the money upfront, but he will not receive any additional financial support afterward.

He will eventually receive half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles mansion.

About $25,000 of her ex's attorney fees will be covered by the Sam & Cat alum.

A source told the outlet: "There is still a strong mutual love and respect between Ariana and Dalton, and they wanted to make sure everything was done right in lockstep with one another."

'YOU INSPIRED ME'

Ariana is not the only musician to comment on Aaron's death.

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 47, also paid tribute to the late musician.

In an Instagram Story, Travis shared a snapshot of himself shirtless as he posed with Aaron.

The rocker flashed a peace sign while Ariana's drummer smiled at the camera.

Kourtney Kardashian's husband captioned the post: "My heart is broken.

"Your friendship meant the world to me."

He continued: "You inspired me to fall back in love with drumming after my accident.
