Britney Spears recalls ‘passionate’ fling with Colin Farrell after claims Justin Timberlake ‘slept with seven girls’
BRITNEY Spears has talked about the passionate fling she claims to have had with Colin Farrell after her split from Justin Timberlake.
The Womanizer singer, 41, met the Oscar nominee, 47, through a "club promoter friend," according to her memoir, The Woman In Me.
Britney then visited Colin on the set of the Irish actor's 2003 movie S.W.A.T. and claimed that after that, they had a "two-week brawl."
"Brawl is the only word for it - we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight," she wrote in an excerpt obtained by .
Britney then attended the premiere of Colin's movie, The Recruit.
"As I had before when I'd felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn't over Justin yet," the Toxic singer wrote.
"For a brief moment in time, I did think there could be something there. The disappointments in my romantic life were just one part of how isolated I became. I felt so awkward all the time."
Colin told reporters at the event: "We're not dating. She's a sweet, sweet girl. There's nothing going on - just mates."
Britney admitted she was not over her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, who she split from in 2002 after three years together.
She claimed Justin "slept with six or seven girls" in the weeks after their separation.

The U.S. Sun has contacted representatives for Justin and Colin for comment.
Justin dated Britney from 1999 to 2002, having met her on the set of TV’s The Mickey Mouse Club in 1992.
HEARTBREAKING ABORTION
She claimed she fell pregnant with his baby in late 2000 when they were both 19 and made the "heartwrenching" decision to have an abortion.
"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day," Britney penned, according to .
"This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy.
"He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision.
"If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father."
The star said the abortion was "one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life" in the memoir - which is set for release on October 24.
Britney had her first child, son Sean Preston, with her now ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005 and her second son, Jayden James, in 2006.
Justin, 42, went on to marry The Illusionist actress Jessica Biel, 41, and the couple share sons Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
CHEATING DRAMA
On Wednesday, The U.S. Sun revealed that Britney finally admits in the book that she cheated on Justin with dancer Wade Robson.
Australian-born Robson, 41, made headlines years later when he accused pop superstar Michael Jackson of sexually abusing him.
Gossip had swirled for years that Britney split up with Justin in 2002 after hooking up with Wade.
It had been suspected that Justin wrote his hit song Cry Me a River about Spears cheating on him.
In her memoir, Britney claimed that she did cheat with the choreographer after finding out that Justin had slept around behind her back.
She wrote of her fling with Wade: "We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night."
She went on to claim that she had been loyal to Justin for years "with that one exception."
