Madonna’s sons Rocco Ritchie, 22, and David Banda, 17, look stressed in first photos since singer was rushed to hospital
MADONNA'S sons Rocco Ritchie and David Banda have been seen looking worried in their first outing since the singer's health crisis.
The Material Girl singer was hospitalized after contracting an infection that sent her to the ICU and her family was preparing for the worst, according to a relative.
"For the past couple of days, no one really knew which direction this was going to turn, and her family was preparing for the worst," the unnamed family member said.
"That is why it was kept a secret since Saturday.
"Everyone believed that we may lose her and that has been the reality of the situation."
Her sons appeared stressed as they were seen making their way into Madonna's apartment building.
This is the first time that the Grammy winner's sons have been seen in public since her health crisis was made public.
"All of Madonna's family members have come together over this," the pop star's relative said.
"She has not been living as healthy a life as she should be for her age, and she has been wearing herself thin over the past couple of months.
"She thinks that she is still young when, in fact, she is not. She also believes that she is invincible."
MADONNA'S HOSPITALIZATION
On Wednesday, the Like a Virgin singer's manager, Guy Oseary, took to social media to share the shocking news.
He wrote in a caption: "On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”
“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour."
She was found unresponsive and then rushed to a New York City hospital, confirmed.
She looked somber in several pics, not smiling.
She captioned the photos: "The Calm Before The Storm………."
The snaps showed her preparing for her now-postponed tour.
Madonna was working grueling 12-hour days "strenuously rehearsing" for her tour for weeks before her hospitalization, reported.
Among the concerning photos shared by the pop star was one of her sprawled out on the floor.
Her eyes were closed and she was resting one hand on her stomach.
In another pic, the iconic musician's eyes appeared glossy and heavy while getting her hair done.
One picture, in particular, has raised the eyebrows of fans.
Mixed in among the set is a snap of Madonna sitting somberly next to a piano, seemingly taking a break.
She didn't smile as she stared off into the distance.
