Sources told that Van Dyke was bleeding from the nose and was treated at the scene.

The actor said that he didn’t want to go to the hospital.

He told officers that his Lexus LS 500 had skidded in the wet conditions before colliding with the gate.

Cops have reportedly submitted documents requesting the actor to retake his driving test.

Officers have said that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash.

The beloved actor didn't drive home from the scene.

Van Dyke's accident came years after his Jaguar burst into flames on a Los Angeles freeway in August 2013.

Witness Jason Pennington told that he saw an elderly man "hunched" at the wheel.

He revealed that he pulled the actor from the flaming wreckage.

Dramatic footage obtained by the outlet showed thick, black smoke billowing into the air.

Van Dyke, who was 87 at the time, didn't need treatment, but was left "slightly disorientated."

His wife Arlene Silver revealed in a Vine video that the actor was "fine" after being caught up in the ordeal.

Van Dyke was even seen smiling and taking pictures of the wreckage after being rescued.

He recently told that Arlene, 51, helps keep him feeling young.

The actor recently starred in season nine of the hit TV show The Masked Singer.

Panelist Nicole Scherzinger burst into tears when Gnome was revealed to be the legendary performer.
