Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ widow Allison Holker posts for first time since husband’s tragic death in heartbreaking tribute
STEPHEN "tWitch" Boss' widow, Allison Holker, has posted for the first time since her husband's tragic death.
The dancer died by suicide on December 13 in a Los Angeles motel room.
"My ONE and ONLY Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much," Allison captioned the post.
In the photo, she had her head resting on his shoulder as they both had slight smiles on their faces.
This is her first post to social media since Stephen's passing.
Fans, friends, and family sent their condolences in the comments.
Ellen DeGeneres commented: "There is so much love coming to you. I hope you can feel it."
Stephen was the DJ on Ellen's show for years before it came to an end earlier this year.
Dancing With The Stars judge and friend of the couple, Derek Hough said: "We love you Ally. We all have you."
Andy Lassner, the executive producer of the Ellen DeGeneres Show wrote: "So much love. We got you."
The couple celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary just days before tWitch's tragic death.
They shared three children together- Weslie, whom Stephen adopted from a previous relationship of Allison's, Maddox and Zaia.
GONE TOO SOON
News broke on December 14 that the So You Think You Can Dance alum had passed away.
He was 40 years old.
The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed to The U.S. Sun that the dancer died at a Los Angeles motel on December 13.
They said: "At around 11:20 am officers responded to a death investigation radio call at a motel on Ventura Boulevard. The decedent died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and no foul play is suspected.”
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office also confirmed.
The 34-year-old was apparently frantic because he had left home without his car, which she said was unlike him.
Police reportedly got a call a short time later for a shooting at a Los Angeles hotel.
Officers found father-of-three Stephen there and said it appeared he had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," she shared.
"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.
"He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
The show would have tWitch and Allison help first time buyers find a home.
“But for now, our primary focus remains on wishing our best to Allison and the entire Boss family during this difficult time.”
