Who was Cooper Noriega?
Born on June 28, 2002, the late Cooper Noriega was a popular TikToker with over 1.7million followers.
On Instagram, he amassed a following of over 428,000 users.
Prior to his death, Cooper drafted a number of mental health-related posts.
On June 6, 2022, he posted a photo of himself to Instagram and captioned the shot: "Hey guys I just created a Discord for mental health strictly"
"If you would like to join it you can; just click the link in my bio."
On a variety of occasions, the late social media star referenced his battle with mental health to his followers.
Just five days before his death, Cooper told his followers on Sunday, June 5: "I’ve been struggling with addiction since I was 9 years old."
"You may think that’s crazy but that’s the life I’ve been dealt."

The online personality also wrote: "I would like to use the influence I’ve been given to create a space built on spreading awareness and normalizing talking about mental illness."
"One of the many things I’ve learned while struggling with addiction was that surrounding yourself with negative people will only bring you down."
He added: "For that reason, Discord is meant to bring us all together and create a safe space where people can vent and help others through their tough times."
What was Cooper's cause of death?
On December 19, 2022, Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner attributed the late Cooper's cause of death to "combined effects of alprazolam, fentanyl and lorazepam" and "recent clonazepam use."
Months before on Thursday, June 9, Cooper's lifeless body was found in a parking lot in Los Angeles, California.

According to authorities, a passerby called 911 when they found Cooper's body unconscious in a mall parking lot.
After paramedics arrived on the scene, they were unable to revive the 19-year-old.
The young star was not in a vehicle when authorities found him and there were no signs of trauma on his body.
Following the TikTok personality's passing, a number of his fans took to the web to express their condolences.
His fellow influencer, Taylor Caniff, commented under Cooper's last Instagram post: "Rest in peace man I still have a stop for you on my couch. Ima build this rehab in your honor."

Another one of his peers, Max Dressler, added his input and commented: "god coop i cant believe this. forever love you and will miss you brother."
