BRITNEY Spears has been granted an emergency protection order after her ex-husband gatecrashed her wedding.
Jason Alexander was tackled to the ground outside her LA home and detained just hours before she married her partner Sam Asghari on June 9, The Sun can confirm.
Cops in Ventura County revealed the 40-year-old was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery, vandalism, and trespassing.
Sgt Cyrus Zadeh of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told The Sun: “The emergency protective order against Jason Alexander was requested by Britney Spears’ representative and Mr Sam Asghari as well.
“It’s a no contact order. Emergency protective orders last for a short period to give time for subjects to seek a temporary restraining order from the courts." They generally last about five court days.
What's more is Britney's ex also came armed with a weapon when he ambushed the star-studded wedding, authorities confirmed to The Sun. “Mr Alexander had a boxcutter in his possession but it was never displayed or brandished during the incident."
Alexander was also arrested on suspicion of an outstanding felony warrant from 2016.
Alexander, who was infamously married to Britney for 55 hours in 2004, showed up at his ex's wedding uninvited.

He filmed himself at her mansion on Instagram Live.
He approached event security and claimed that he had been invited by Britney.
He revealed that she was his first and only previous wife.
Alexander yelled in the clip: "Don't put your hands on me," and asked, "Where's Britney?" while ignoring security's instructions.
He moved through the property as he seemingly searched for his former wife.

He described the event as "bulls**t" as he showed off the floral arrangements.
Alexander entered Britney's home before being tackled by security.
An eyewitness told The Sun: “Jason walked up the Los Robles hiking trail next to Britney’s property, it must have taken him the best part of an hour.
“He said he has been coming here for three weeks and he was live on Instagram, then he just jumped over the fence.
“There were two security guys parked nearby in black SUVs but I don't know if they spotted him.
“Later I heard the sound of sirens when cops showed up on the scene.”
'DERANGED LOOK'
The witness claimed: “Jason had a deranged look in his eye, like he hadn’t slept.
“He wasn't carrying anything except his phone, he didn't have a bag or a rucksack.
"He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, sneakers, and a baseball cap.”
Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, told that the trespasser does "need to be locked up."
He told the outlet: "I am personally working with the sheriff's department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
Britney or Sam have not addressed the situation.
The Sgt told The Sun: “He has been charged with trespassing, vandalism and two counts of battery in addition to an outstanding felony warrant for larceny in Napa County.
“He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday afternoon at 1.30pm at Ventura County Superior Court.”
