Julia Garner is an actress who was born on February 1, 1994, in New York City.

She first rose to fame in the early 2010s and is arguably best known for her role as Ruth Langmore in Netflix's Ozark, and as Anna Delvey in Inventing Anna.

The three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner has also been seen in The Assistant, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Waco, and The Get Down.

In June 2022, Garner was offered the role of Madonna in a Universal Pictures biopic but it was announced that the production was canceled in January 2023.

Is Julia Garner married?

When Garner is not on set, she can often be found at home, spending time with her family.

Since 2019, she has been married to Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and musician Mark Foster.

The pair previously met at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013 and then tied the knot in a courthouse wedding.

"We went back and forth from having a big wedding to eloping in Vegas," Garner told in 2020.

"We ultimately decided to get married at City Hall in New York City, just like my parents did 40 years ago."

Foster is arguably best known for being the lead singer in the indie pop band, Foster the People.

Foster the People was first formed in 2009 and consists of Foster, guitarist Sean Cimino, and keyboardist Isom Innis. The band is known for the 2011 hit Pumped Up Kicks.
