Kardashian fans shocked as they spot major clue about reclusive Rob & ex-stepparent Caitlyn Jenner’s real relationship

ROB Kardashian's fans have been left shocked by his seemingly close relationship with his former stepparent Caitlyn Jenner.

The reclusive reality star, 35, had a surprising exchange with the former Olympic athlete, 72, on Twitter earlier this month.

Rob was promoting his family's new Hulu show when he simply tweeted: "#TheKardashians."

Caitlyn appeared to reach out as she tweeted back: "Love you."

Many of the Kardashians have distanced themselves from Caitlyn over the years, so fans were shocked by the brief exchange.

One wrote on Reddit: "Only just seeing this!"

Another tweeted, "So they're friends?!!" while a third added: "OMFG. Caitlyn and Rob."

Caitlyn was snubbed from her family's show The Kardashians. She was also not invited to Kourtney's wedding.

The Sun exclusively revealed that she felt "crushed" that she wasn't invited to the Italian ceremony.

Kourtney, 43, married rocker Travis Barker, 46, surrounded by friends and family earlier this month.

Caitlyn's relationship with Kris Jenner has been equally tense since they ended their marriage in 2013 after 22 years together.

Things became strained when Caitlyn came out as transgender and completed her transition, before writing about it in her 2017 memoir The Secrets of My Life.

Last year, Caitlyn reflected on her turbulent relationship with Kris.

"I would say from my standpoint, our relationship is not as good as it should be," she told her housemates on Big Brother VIP.

"I don't have any hard feelings towards her. I wish it was closer, but it's not."

Earlier that year, Khloe told Scott Disick and sister Kim that she speaks to Caitlyn once “every blue moon” as she is always so busy.

"I talk to Sophia [Caitlyn's "girlfriend"] very seldomly and Caitlyn probably like every blue moon," Khloe admitted in a KUWTK episode.

DISTANT RELATIONSHIP

"But it's just because we're busy, there's Covid. It's not like - there's no beef."

Discussing Caitlyn and Kris' relationship, she added: "I just feel like that dynamic has been through so much, and I think it's taken mom a really long time to get to where she is now emotionally.

"I don't know if mom has anything more to give like to emotionally handle that. But honestly, mom and I have not spoken about where she stands with Cait."

Rob, meanwhile, has chosen to shy away from the spotlight since appearing on KUWTK.

He made a brief appearance on The Kardashians at Kris' birthday party but tried to hide from the cameras.

The reality star is currently gearing up for his revenge porn trial against his ex, Blac Chyna - who he shares daughter Dream with.
