Teen Mom Leah Messer shades ex-BFF Kailyn Lowry as she slams ‘TOXIC’ female friends in a cryptic new post
TEEN Mom Leah Messer has slammed her ex-best friend, Kailyn Lowry, in a new cryptic Instagram which slams toxic female friends.
The post was originally shared by Maren Morris on April 9.
Leah, 29, shared the post on her Instagram story with a heart hands emoji.
"One of the greatest lessons that adult women need to learn is meeting people where they are and to stop writing friends off for being themselves," the beginning of the post read.
"This whole 'we aren't friends anymore because she didn't check on me' or she 'never reaches out first' narrative is lame," it continued.
The post went on to talk about how women struggle every day with major issues and that they shouldn't have to check on them.

It finished by saying that friendship shouldn't have requirements, as long as it is not toxic.
Fans on were quick to comment on the shared post and connect it to Kailyn, 30.
"I guess Leah is dunzo with Karl for good," the original poster captioned the thread and then shared a screenshot of her story.
"I can’t stand people that act like the phone doesn’t work both ways. It’s a very common very annoying trait. Grown adults really think the entire universe revolves around them and can’t compute that we all have our own lives," said one fan.
Some fans were calling out Kailyn for being "selfish."
"Kailyn only cares about Kailyn. She does not deserve a friend like Leah," wrote one user.
"Good for Leah tbh f**k Karl and her bullshit. She only cares about herself," said another.
"As she should be. Kail thinks she owns whoever she’s with or friends with," added a third.
Others were quick to compliment Leah for speaking up.
"Look at Leah standing in her power! No really. I’m happy for her for standing up for herself," said one Reddit user.
"She's not wrong 🤷," added another.
A third shared, "Leah rarely sticks up for herself, so I’m proud of her for saying this."
MOM FIGHT
The moms first met when Leah joined season 2 of 16 & Pregnant.
They became friends instantly.
However, after leaving the show, Kailyn and Leah's friendship took a turn for the worse.
In December 2019, Leah was said to have joined a cult called Mastery in Transformational Training.
Kailyn did not approve saying the program "targeted weak people who can be manipulated."
Leah then slammed her ex-best friend for posting a clickbait article about her three children being in danger because of her involvement in the alleged "cult."
Then in January 2020, the author of clapped back once again in an Instagram rant.
"I’m so grateful to be in a place financially that I don’t have to promote bs degrading articles to make a dollar," she said.
Leah ended the message with, "Leave my daughter’s positive messages out of your pathetic beliefs. I still love you all. Just do better with the massive platform you’ve been blessed with!”
One month later, Leah did not join Kailyn on their trip to Iceland.
She also didn't like Kailyn's pregnancy announcement ahead of her son, Creed's, birth.
REKINDLING THEIR FRIENDSHIP
It seems their relationship was rocky as just one month later, in March, Leah said on an Instagram live that she and Kail "were still friends."
By July 2021, the once upon a time enemies seemed to have called the whole fight off when they went on a trip to the Dominican Republic together with their children.
A video of them laughing together and braiding each other's hair was posted to Reddit.
Leah met Kailyn's son Creed for the first time and all seemed well.
WE'RE DONE
After the vacation, things seemed to be good between the Teen Mom stars.
However, in March 2022, their fight seemed to start up again.
Kailyn unfollowed everyone but 11 people, including Leah, after being fired from the show.
Leah responded to her on-again, off-again best friend by making an angry Tiktok.
She rapped the words, "hold up b***h."
The video is now deleted, but the reality star mouthed the words to Nick Minaj and Lil Baby's Do We Have a Problem?
