Anne and Adam are parents to two sons named Jonathan and Jack.
The couple welcomed their first child, Jonathan Rosebanks, on March 4, 2016.

The actress spoke with about becoming a mother.
She shared that she "didn't feel fully landed and fully here until I was a mom."
"It's not like I was lacking integrity, but it made me want to be completely, on every level, true to my word," she said.
"And that meant stopping any nonsense that I had going on inside myself. And it's little breaks that you give yourself sometimes when you know that you're not being your best self."

The Princess Diaries also shared that pregnancy is not all positive.
"There's this tendency to portray getting pregnant, having kids, in one light, as if it's all positive.
"But I know from my own experience…it's so much more complicated than that," she said.
"And when you find out that your pain is shared by others ... you just think, I just feel that's helpful information to have, so I'm not isolated in my pain."

On September 29, 2012, Anne tied the knot with Adam.
The two held their ceremony in Big Sur, California.
He was born on April 2, 1981, and is known as an American actor, producer, and jewelry designer.
Hathaway has spoken openly about marriage and her husband Adam.
"I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan," she said to at the time.
"I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!"
What has Anne Hathaway said about her children pursuing acting?
Hathaway has been acting for decades, but she hopes that her children do not start too young.
"I would probably take the same tack that my parents did with me, which is...You have all the time in the world to be a professional actor; you can only be a child once," she said.
