Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy Travis Scott ‘pledges $5M’ to ‘lifelong journey of making concerts safer’ following Astroworld
KYLIE Jenner's beau, Travis Scott, pledge $5 million toward "making concerts safer" following the tragedy at Astroworld.
In November 2021, 10 concert attendees were killed after a crowd surge let to them being crushed.
On Tuesday, Travis shared a announcing his latest venture: Project Heal.
He shared the news with a graphic featuring the word in large black letters, along with more information about his plans.
The rapper captioned the post: "Over the past few months, I've been taking the time and space to grieve, reflect, and do my part to heal my community.
"Most importantly, I want to use my resources and platform moving forward towards actionable change."
Travis went on: "This will be a lifelong journey for me and my family.
"While it's east for corporations and institutions to stay in the shadows, I feel as a leader in my community, I need to step up in times of need.

"My team and I created Project HEAL to take much needed action towards supporting real solutions that make all events the safest spaces they can possibly be."
The caption went on: "I will always honor the victims of the Astroworld tragedy who remain in my heart forever.
"Giving back and creating opportunities for the youth is something I've always done and will continue to do as long as I have the chance.
"This program will be a catalyst to real change and I can't wait to introduce the rest of the technology and ideas we've been working on."
Travis concluded: "See you all so soon."

Fans, along with members of the Kardashian family, commented on the post.
For the most part, the comments were positive and supportive.
Khloe Kardashian wrote: "We love you."
A fan added: "Turn that pain into purpose."
A second supporter commented: "This is the best response. Actions speak louder than words."
Several others simply posted hearts in the comments.
THE PLAN
According to Travis' post, Project Heal encompasses concert safety measures and much more.
The post described the initiative like this: "Project HEAL is a multi-tier initiative dedicated to addressing challenges facing today's youth, especially those from marginalized and at-risk communities.
"In conjunction with the Cactus Jack Foundation, Project HEAL unites initiatives from academic scholarships, free mental health resources, a creative design center and a first-ever tech-driven solution for event safety.
"These efforts independently and collectively, aim to solve challenges and overcome issues impacting the youth community."
The description ended with: "While this program will develop over time, the following are the key pillars of this initiative."
Those pillars include the Waymon Webster HBCU Scholarship Fund, the Expansion of CACT.US Youth Design Center, Mental Health Resources, and the US Conference of Mayors and Tech-Driven Solutions for Event Safety.
TRAVIS' PART
reported that Travis has thrown millions of dollars into the project.
According to the outlet, he's chipped in about $5 million thus far, distributing the money throughout the tiers.
Per TMZ's reporting, $1 million of Travis' money went toward scholarships, which will help about 100 students in getting through college should the maintain the required academic achievements.
The rest of the money was then split throughout the other tiers in Travis' initiative.
TMZ did not reveal the exact amounts, however.

The Project Heal announcement marks one of few times Travis has returned to social media since the tragedy.
He previously returned to announce the birth of his son, Wolf.
