At the time of his death, XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was only 20 years old.

On June 18, 2018, the young rapper died after he was approached by two armed suspects in what police say was a possible robbery.

X was reportedly shopping for motorcycles in South Florida and was leaving a dealership at the time.

He was taken to the hospital around 1.35pm local time after he was shot multiple times, where he later passed away.

The alleged killers have since pleaded not guilty to the charges against them and were previously held at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale while they awaited trial.

On March 20, 2023, Williams, Boatwright, and Newsome were found guilty of the first-degree murder and armed robbery of XXXTentacion.

Former suspect Robert Allen became a witness in the case and testified against the other three suspects.

Allen also confessed to his involvement and avoided trial by pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
