Why was 50 Cent's Super Bowl 2022 halftime performance shot upside down?
During the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, rapper 50 Cent made a surprise appearance onstage to perform his 2003 hit, In Da Club.
After Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre came together to play The Next Episode and California Love, the camera panned to an upside-down 50 Cent.
The music video for In Da Club - which came out 19 years ago - also features an upside-down 50.
He was immediately followed by singer Mary J. Blige.
Who is 50 Cent?
Born on July 6, 1975, 50 Cent - real name Curtis James Jackson III - is a rapper, actor, and businessman.
A New York native, 50 Cent was born and raised in Queens.
When he was just eight years old, his mother passed away in a fire.
In 1996, 50 Cent met Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC.
Throughout the span of his career, 50 Cent has released five studio albums, including:
