DWTS execs ‘want to hire Kylie Jenner’ or other big star to co-host show with Tyra Banks after fans call for her firing
EXECUTIVES may shuffle in a new Dancing With the Stars co-host alongside Tyra Banks and "want to hire Kylie Jenner" or another BIG name.
The potential Season 31 shake-up comes after fans called for her firing and ratings plummeted, The Sun can exclusively report.
After earlier learning that ABC was "mapping out" what to do with DWTS, The Sun can now report that higher-ups are eying a co-host for Tyra.
A source exclusively shared that the 47-year-old's "future as host is secretly being reviewed by ABC executives."
Rather than being replaced, Tyra is "poised to meet" to discuss names that would "bring more eyeballs."
"Currently potential names," include A-listers Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, LeVar Burton and Drag Race host RuPaul.
Execs are even floating "wild card" options for the broadcast TV staple including Michael Strahan, Jimmy Kimmel and Kylie, 24.
The source added that the network is "determined to keep DWTS as a flagship show" and serious talks have not yet "started in earnest."

But "signing at least one major star" is extremely likely, they added.
"At least one or ideally two major household names that fascinate fans" may waltz in.
The executives want to "think big" and lure "an Oscar, Emmy or Grammy winning star."
DWTS has not yet officially been renewed, though the production team workers expect to be there for Season 31.
ABC still makes significant profits from the show despite the lower ratings.
TYRA'S MISSTEPS
Tyra became DWTS' solo host for Season 29 after longtime host Tom Bergeron and his co-host Erin Andrews were let go, shocking some fans, and she remained at the helm for Season 30.
But almost immediately, fans were not in step with the America’s Next Top Model alum.
During Season 29, Tyra announced the wrong botttom two couple during the elimination process, blaming the broadcast blunder on a cue card mistake.
"DWTS. Please bring back Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Tyra Banks sucks, no personality, all about her wardrobe! Downhill this season," one fan wrote at the time.
There was a fan petition to replace her on that earned 14K signatures.
Outlandish outfits have been another issue, as Tyra has been known to even upstage performers, including a dinosaur-evoking number that was stomped by fans.

During season 30, Tyra was ripped for "shoving" Olivia Jade offstage after she was eliminated.
Olivia, 22, and fellow contestant Jimmie Allen, 36, were left devastated when they were both booted off the show earlier this month.
DWTS fans were furious with how Tyra handled their exit, claiming she "shooed" Olivia and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy offstage.
MORE BACKLASH
Weeks earlier, Tyra was called out for embarrassing Suni Lee for rushing offstage to vomit after her performance.
After Suni and her partner Sasha Farber performed, the gymnast rushed off stage as Tyra was left to explain the situation.
She said: “Suni is not feeling so good. Not Covid! Not Covid at all! But she's not feeling well so she danced sick and she had to leave. But she's okay!”
Suni returned to the stage for the relay dances, though Tyra once again focused on the awkward moment.
More recently, the host was called out by fans for "taking too long" to announce Iman Shumpert as the season's winner during the finale.
KYLIE TO KUT A RUG?
Kylie welcomed a baby boy with Travis Scott on Wednesday, February 2 2022, and announced the news over the weekend to the tune of 20M Instagram likes.
She welcomed Stormi, her and Travis' first child, in 2018.
While the multi-millionaire influencer has never competed on the show, she has some tangentially related experience.
In 2018 she starred in Travis Scott's music video for Stop Trying To Be God.
