All the ways pregnant Rihanna hid her baby bump for MONTHS before revealing she’s expecting first child with A$AP Rocky

RIHANNA and rapper A$AP Rocky announced the news on Monday that they are expecting a baby together after MONTHS of fan speculation.

The singer first sparked pregnancy rumors after fans spotted a possible “baby bump” while she was in Barbados in November.

Still, the couple had yet to address the rumors as they kept their pregnancy out of the limelight, until now.

In photos obtained by The Sun, the parents-to-be stepped out in New York City over the weekend where the fashion designer debuted her pregnant belly.

Rihanna, 33, wore a long pink oversized jacket left unbuttoned to reveal her baby bump with low-rise ripped jeans.

She rocked a colorful jeweled necklace that draped over her stomach as she linked hands with her boyfriend in the snowy scene.

In another photo, A$AP – who’s real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers – kissed the soon-to-be-mom on the forehead as they enjoyed a walk through his hometown of Harlem together.

No due date has been announced as of yet.

The public announcement was a long time coming for fans who have been questioning for months if the couple were expanding their family.

The fashion mogul stirred the pot when she was seen on numerous occasions dressed in loose-fitted outfits, concealing her belly from camera’s view.

She even shot down a fans’ claim back in December hoping to stop the chatter after one fan named “Jen” DM’d Rihanna asked: “Can I come to the baby shower sis!? True or not your babies are going to be beautiful. Sorry everyone’s up in your uterus right now.” 

Rihanna responded: “Ha! Stop! You ain’t came to the first 10 baby showers! Y’all breed me every year dammit lol.”

Rumors initially swirled after the Umbrella singer’s previous trip to Barbados to be named a national hero of her home country.

The hitmaker sent the internet into meltdown when she wore a clingy orange halterneck dress to the inauguration ceremony.

Many fans posted photos from the event on social media, claiming Rihanna has a visible baby bump in the gown.

One verified user, The Academy, : “Rihanna is pregnant with her first child with A$AP Rocky.”

The tweet has received thousands of retweets and favorites, but there was nothing to back up the claims.

PREGNANCY RUMORS

The rumor mill went further into overdrive when it was reported that Rihanna told employees in Barbados not to smoke around her.

A source claimed to: “Staff was told at her house, no drinking or smoking is allowed.

“[Rihanna] is pregnant, and wants to bring her baby in a healthy environment.”

Meanwhile, the year prior the Stay singer admitted she wants three or four babies in the next 10 years.

When asked where she envisions herself in a decade, she told : Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient. I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”

When asked whether she’d still have children if she hadn’t found the right partner, she added: “Hell, yeah. I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’

“They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child.

“That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”

RELATIONSHIP TIMELINE

The couple were first linked back in 2013, when A$AP opened Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour for her US concerts.

She also starred in A$AP’s music video for his hit Fashion Killa in 2013, in which the pair got up close and personal.

But back then, A$AP was dating Chanel Iman, so rumors the two were an item were quickly shut down.

However, the pair made several other appearances together thereafter, leaving fans wondering if they were in fact dating.

In February, 2020, an anonymous source told  that the two were “hanging out and hooking up.”

“They’re having fun and have always had chemistry,” the source claimed.

‘WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW’

After a year of speculation, A$AP confirmed he and the Umbrella singer are in a relationship.

In an interview with  in May 2021, he referred to her as “my lady” and the “love of my life.”

“So much better when you got ‘the one.’ She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones,” he said.

“I think when you know, you know. She’s the one.”

The recording artist added that his forthcoming record All Smiles was “absolutely influenced” by Rihanna.

The following September, the lovebirds made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala, wearing similar oversized outfits.

A month later, they celebrated A$AP’s 33rd birthday at Wizkid’s “Made for Lagos” concert in Los Angeles.
