The allegations against Manson came through Wood telling her story in a new documentary by director Amy Berg, called Phoenix Rising - Part I: Don't Fall.

The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival over the weekend. In it, Wood details the toxic relationship she went through with the 53-year-old rockstar, whose real name is Brian Warner.

Wood and Manson first met when she was 18 and he was 38. They got engaged in 2010 before breaking up.

Wood spoke to Congress in 2018 about surviving abuse but didn't name Manson as her alleged abuser until an Instagram in February 2021.

Manson previously denied all allegations, and he issued a new statement to the documentary's filmmakers through his attorney, according to

The statement reads: "These lurid claims against my client have three things in common - they are all false, alleged to have taken place more than a decade ago, and part of a coordinated attack by former partners and associates of Mr. Warner who have weaponized the otherwise mundane details of his personal life and their consensual relationships into fabricated horror stories."

'ESSENTIALLY RAPED' DURING MUSIC VIDEO

The most shocking claim from the documentary is Wood's account of Manson allegedly "essentially raping" her on camera during a music video shoot.

If you or someone you know is affected by any of the issues raised in this story, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.

At age 19, Wood acted in a music video for Manson's song Heart-Shaped Glasses, in which there is a sex scene.

According to Wood, the sex on camera was supposed to be simulated. However, Manson allegedly actually penetrated the actress.

“We had discussed a simulated sex scene, but once the cameras were rolling, he started penetrating me for real. I had never agreed to that,” Wood said in the film.

“I was coerced into a commercial sex act under false pretenses. That’s when the first crime was committed against me. I was essentially raped on-camera.”

ISOLATED FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Wood details in the documentary that Manson first began grooming her when they met, allegedly, by pushing her away from her family and friends.

According to the , Wood says in the film that Manson encouraged a rift between her and her boyfriend and caused problems between Wood and her parents.

"He has studied this," Wood’s mother Sara Lynn Moore said in the film, according to the outlet.

"He's studied how to manipulate people. He's a predator — he's a predator."

SCARIFICATION

In the documentary detailing their turbulent relationship, Wood says that the abuse was constantly escalating.

She claimed that Manson became fixated with scarification and branding.

According to the actress, Manson carved an E into his skin and Wood carved an M "as a way to show ownership and loyalty."

Wood said that she carved the letter next to her pelvic area to show Manson that she belonged to him.

NAZI PROPAGANDA

Wood said in the film that even though Manson knew that she is Jewish, he would do and say many anti-Semitic things, including decorating their house with Nazi propaganda.

She claims that Manson had a "Hitler affinity," and that he filled his original paintings with swastikas and Nazi imagery.

Wood said that Manson made fun of her for being born Jewish, as well as for being upset about his anti-Semitism.

He also reportedly told her that Hitler was "the first rock star because Hitler was stylish, he was well-spoken, and he knew how to manipulate the masses."

'LOVEBOMBING'

Wood alleged that Manson would give her a compliment and attach it to an act of violence.

The film refers to this as "love-bombing," which is an abuse tactic where emotional manipulation occurs as a result of over-the-top affection.

The actress claims in the documentary that Manson would say things like, "you're so important to me I want to kick you."

She referenced other odd phrases like "I'm your vampire" or "You are the blood in my heart."

DRUNKEN FIRST KISS

According to the Daily Beast, Wood says in the documentary that her first encounter with Manson happened while she was drunk.

Allegedly, the two were drinking absinthe together before she left for a trip.

Wood recounted that Manson told her that he would miss her, and then he “stuck his tongue down my throat... Everything went white and I just didn’t know how to respond."

The two did not have intercourse, but the actress and activist said that it was the first time she'd kissed an adult man in her personal life.

'KILL ALL JEWS' ON THE WALL

Wood alleged that Manson would paint and fill his work with swastikas and other Nazi propaganda, which he put all over the home as well.

"At one point, over the side of the bed where I slept, he wrote "kill all the Jews" on our bedroom wall," she said in the documentary.

Wood wrote on Instagram early last year about how Manson would draw swastikas over her bedside table when he was mad at her.

She also revealed that during the course of their relationship, he got new tattoos, including a swastika-like design on his chest and one that looks like a Totenkopf, which is another Nazi symbol.
