Britney Spears ‘REFUSES’ to watch Jamie Lynn’s GMA tell-all & is ‘deeply hurt & angry about sister telling her story’
BRITNEY Spears “refuses” to watch Jamie Lynn’s Good Morning America interview as she’s “deeply hurt and angry” about sister telling her story, The Sun can reveal.
The younger sibling of the pop star broke her silence on the “abusive” conservatorship her family placed Britney, 40, in more than 13-years-ago during a bombshell sit-down earlier today.
While all eyes were on the 30-year-old Sweet Magnolias actress during her Wednesday morning interview, sources close to Britney claimed she was not one of the people who tuned in.
“No Britney hasn’t seen her sister’s GMA interview yet. She refused but eventually I’m sure she will watch,” the insider said.
“Britney is deeply hurt and angry others, who claim to love her, keep attempting to tell her narrative when it’s her story to tell.
“But she he will absolutely be speaking out on her own terms. Probably sooner than fans think.”
In November, the Toxic songstress hinted in an Instagram post that she was going to "spill" on the conservatorship in an upcoming interview of her own.
This morning, Jamie Lynn sobbed and insisted she "still loves" her sister in a new GMA interview.
When asked what "caused the rift"between her and Britney, Jamie Lynn replied through tears: "That love is still there. 100 percent.
"I love my sister. I've only ever loved and supported her and done what's right by her and she knows that, so I don't know why we're in this position right now.”
When asked for her "reaction to when the conservatorship was dissolved," Jamie Lynn instead she was “happy."
She continued: "When it was put into place, I was a 17-year-old.
"I was about to have a baby, so I didn't understand what was happening nor was I focused on that.”
The actress then opened up about her involvement in the conservatorship, sharing that Britney asked her if she "could be the person who assured that her boys got what they needed.”
Britney shares two sons, Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 43.
Jamie Lynn then said she "didn't want to be part of" her sister's conservatorship and wanted to wait to help her until it was over.
She continued: "There was no, like, me overseeing funds or something like that and if that was, then it was a misunderstanding.
"But either way, I took no steps to be a part of it.”
After calling herself Britney's "biggest supporter," Jamie Lynn claimed she tried to give her the resources to get out of the conservatorship.
She said: "When she needed help, I set up ways to do so.
"Went out of my way to make sure she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and end this all for our family.”
FAMILY 'RIFT'
Jamie Lynn claimed she spoke to Britney's previous legal team and said it "did not end well in my favor.”
She concluded: "I did take the steps to help, but how many times can I take the steps? She has to walk through the door.”
Jamie Lynn appeared on GMA to promote her new memoir Things I Should Have Said - which was originally titled I Must Confess but was later changed due to backlash for using one of Britney's lyrics to monetize off of.
Shortly after the younger Spears sister announced the book, Britney took to Instagram to slam her younger sister's latest project in October.

In several other social media posts over recent months, the Grammy winner has appeared to bash Jamie Lynn for her past behavior and role in the conservatorship.
The pop princess further implied the feud between her sister was still ongoing, as she unfollowed Jamie Lynn on Instagram.
