Born August 29, 1949, Igor started his acting career in 1981 after appearing on the French TV series, Fugues à Fugain, and later went on to become a writer for the shows Robo Story and Steps to the Future.

As of 2022, an exact net worth for Igor is unclear but it has been reported that it is between $2million and $3million.

Outside of the entertainment industry, Igor was also a well-educated man and had received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Burgundy.

On January 3, 2022, it was announced by Igor's agent that he had passed away surrounded by his children and family.

While an exact cause of death was not revealed, it has been reported that his death comes after a Covid-19 diagnosis, the same disease that caused the death of Grichka six days prior.

Was Igor on The Masked Singer?

While it has been many years since Igor acted on screen, in 2020, he and his brother appeared on the French version of The Masked Singer, a top-secret singing competition where celebrities go head-to-head in elaborate costumes which conceal their identities.

While competing on the show, the late brothers dressed as parrots and were seen performing The Beatles' hit "Yesterday," before being eliminated in the second round.
