Hollywood Christmas crimes with RHONY star Luann de Lesseps’ boozy bust & Home Alone alum Devin Ratray’s assault arrest
THE holidays are meant to be the season of giving, but for some celebs it's a difficult time as they wrestle with demons — some more publicly than others.
Stars like Charlie Sheen and Luann de Lesseps have faced legal troubles throughout the years, including arrests during the Christmas season.
The holiday season is supposed to be a happy time, but for these stars it's a time to reflect on their past bad behavior.
Charlie was famously arrested on Christmas day in 2009, while Real Housewives of New York star Luann was taken into police custody and charged days before Christmas in 2017.
The Two and a Half Men star was arrested and charged with assault and menacing and criminal mischief.
He spend eight hours in jail in Colorado before posting bond.
Luann, meanwhile, was arrested in Florida for battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, and several other charges.
Both arrests made waves online and headlines, but the pair are far from the only celebrities to be arrested around Christmas.

CHARLIE SHEEN
Charlie was arrested on Christmas day in 2009 in Aspen, Colorado.
After eight hours in a local jail and posting $8,500 bond he was released.
The actor entered a plea deal and felony menacing charges and criminal-mischief charges against him were dropped along with a count of misdemeanor assault.
He was, however, sentenced to 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management along with 30 days in rehab.
LUANN DE LESSEPS
The TV star was arrested on December 23, 2017 in Palm Beach, Florida.
She was charged with a slew of crimes, including battery on an officer and disorderly intoxication.
Luann was released on her own recognizance.
She pleaded guilty to three charges: battery, trespassing, and disorderly intxication.
The reality star received one year of probation and was required to perform 50 community service hours, attend two AA meetings a week, and avoid drugs and alcohol.
She also had to attend a Victim Impact Class and apologize to the officer she assaulted.
DEVIN RATRAY
Former Home Alone star Devin Ratray was arrested on December 22 after Oklahoma City authorities issued a warrant in connection to an altercation with a woman said to be his girlfriend earlier this month.
According to , the actor was charged with one count of domestic assault and battery by strangulation and another count of domestic assault and battery.
His bond was set a $25,000.
Authorities told that the former child star "turned himself in and was processed through and bonded out."
FETTY WAP
The New Jersey rapper was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport on an outstanding warrant on December 17.
He was taken into police custody after police were alerted to an ankle monitor notification that showed he had an active warrant out of North Bergen, New Jersey, according to .
A Port Authority spokesperson said: "He was released on bail. No bail amount listed. And no mugshot."
The warrant was related to a public nuisance charge. It's unclear what the charge stems from, however.
Fetty Wap has been on GPS monitoring since early November as part of the conditions of his drug trafficking arrest.
The hitmaker was arrested at Citi Field on October 28 on allegations he ran a widespread cocaine and heroin trafficking scheme.
MISCHA BARTON
The O.C. alum was arrested on December 28, 2007 on suspicion of drunk driving and possession of a controlled substance.
She pleaded no contest to the drunken driving charge in a plea deal.
The other charge, which was related. to marijuana found on her at the time, was dropped.
Mischa received three years unsupervised probation for other charges against her, including driving without a license.
She was ordered to complete a three-month alcohol education class and pay $2,000 in fines, but did not face jail time.
LAINIE KAZAN
On December 24, 2017, the My Big Fat Greek Wedding star was arrested for stealing $180 worth of food from a grocery store, the reported.
She was released without bail and avoided jail time.
Lainie agreed to participate in a Neighborhood Justice Program.
VANESSA CLOKE
The Walking Dead star was arrested at her home in Orange County, California after allegedly assaulting a woman who was filming her as her ex moved out of the home.
Law enforcement sources told at the time that police were called to the house to help keep the situation calm as the ex moved out.
Additional sources said Vanessa's ex had just broken up with her.
The actress sobbed in footage from the incident.
After attempting to strike the woman filming, Vanessa was taken away in handcuffs.
She said at the time: "This is so fun. I always wanted to get arrested."
She was booked for misdemeanor assault and battery.
CONOR KENNEDY
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s son, Conor, was arrested for disorderly conduct in Aspen, Colorado on December 29, 2016.
He was immediately released from jail after he was taken into custody for a fight outside a night club.
Conor reached a plea deal and did not have to go to court.
The charge was dropped and wiped from his record after he avoided more trouble for six months.
DRAKE BELL
The former child star was arrested on December 21, 2015 and charged with DUI.
He accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to 96 hours in jail and four years of probation. He also had to attend an alcohol education class.
TRACK PALIN
Sarah Palin's son Track was arrested on December 16, 2017 on assault and burglary charges after he got into a fight with dad Todd Palin.
After pleading guilty to the reduced charge of misdemeanor criminal trespassing, other charges against him were dropped.
He was enrolled in a prosecution diversion program for veterans to help other veterans.
AZEALIA BANKS
The rapper was arrested on December 15, 2015 in New York City.
She was accused of biting a female security guard in the breast and punching her.
Azealia pleaded guilty and the judge dismissed the misdemeanor assault charge on the grounds that she complete anger management, which she did.
BAR REFAELI
The model was arrested back in 2015.
She and her mother were taken into custody on December 17 that year for tax evasion.
Bar and her mother were released on $193,000 bail.
She filed a civil suit in the Central District Court in Lod to appeal the Israel Tax Authority's ruling stating that she was an Israeli resident during the years she was accused of not paying taxes.
She claimed she lived in the U.S. during that time with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Her appeal was rejected, however, and she was ordered to pay tens of millions of dollars in unpaid income tax to Israel for 2009 and 2010.
BILL COSBY
Bill was arrested on December 30, 2015 on charges of sexual assault and drugging.
He was sentenced to 10 years in jail in September 2018, but his conviction was later overturned.
DRITA D'AVANZO
The Mob Wives star was arrested along with her husband, Lee, in December 2019.
Days before Christmas, police raided their Staten Island home and found two loaded guns and 120 pills.
Marijuana was found in the home as well.
