Khloe Kardashian ‘found out about Tristan Thompson’s love child scandal on social media and NOT from baby daddy himself’
KHLOE Kardashian found out about Tristan Thompson's love child on social media and not from the athlete himself, The Sun can reveal.
A source said the KUWTK star, 37, was "shocked to her core" when people tipped off her team about Tristan's baby.
NBA star Tristan, 30, fathered a son with personal trainer Maralee Nichols last week after they reportedly had a months-long secret affair.
Maralee has filed a lawsuit for paternity support against Tristan - who shares daughter True, four, with Khloe.
Amid the scandal, an insider revealed Tristan didn't personally tell Khloe about his baby news.
The source said: "Khloe was shocked to her core when she found out - and even more shocked at how she found out.
"It wasn't Tristan who told her, it was messages on social media that her team were getting way before the story came out."
They continued: "Khloe may now be saying they've been broken up since spring - but that's not the whole story.

"She had actually been giving Tristan 'one last chance' - he was getting therapy, and staying single and out of trouble and then they were going to see where they were at."
The insider also noted: "Her family are furious she's been left embarrassed again. They've told her she's been humiliated for the last time. They're telling her co-parenting and a friendly relationship is fine, but getting back together with him and acting like a couple is too far.

A source close to Khloe, however, told The Sun that she and Tristan broke up earlier this year and that she did not find out about Tristan's child through social media.
THE LAWSUIT
Maralee claimed in her lawsuit that she and Tristan conceived a baby on the night of Tristan's birthday in March.
The athlete was dating Khloe at the time - although they split in June after he "spent 30 minutes in a bedroom with three women" at a "wild" house party.
In his response to Maralee's child support filing, the Sacramento Kings player admitted to having sex with her "several times" at a Houston hotel after they attended his party together.
Maralee filed the lawsuit against her alleged baby daddy on June 30, just days after moving from Texas to Los Angeles.
Tristan has not denied that he is the baby boy's father but requested that a paternity test be completed after the child's birth.
'HUSH MONEY'
According to legal docs obtained by he allegedly offered Maralee $75,000 to stay quiet about their baby.
In the alleged messages, the NBA player also claimed he will retire after this current season and he will be unemployed.
Due to his unemployment status, Tristan said he should be required to pay a smaller amount in child support.
He allegedly told her: “You are aware that I’m retiring after this season. So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed.
“It’s Texas so it will be only a couple hundred dollars. So you better off taking this 75k I’m offering cause you won’t get nothing near that with having a kid with a father who’s unemployed.”

Tristan has cheated on Khloe multiple times throughout their relationship.
