MAROON 5 frontman Adam Levine is no stranger to tattoos and body art.
However, fans of Levine were surprised when he debuted a never before seen tattoo during a red carpet appearance.
How many tattoos does Adam Levine have?
Since Adam Levine's rise to fame with Maroon 5, he has accumulated as many as 31 tattoos.
On March 24, 2021, he debuted a new tattoo on his Instagram story.
The tattoo is of ocean waves and covers his entire left leg.
Levine's other tattoos consist of a dagger piercing heart on his neck, a dagger with wings on his right hand, and the word California going across the middle of his stomach.
The singer said in a 2013 interview with people magazine, "Tattoos wind up being this strange road map or narrative over the years. They always remind me of this long, weird, awesome journey life has been."

On Wednesday, December 1, Levine made a red carpet appearance with his wife Behati Prinsloo.
His newest body ink appeared to be a black rose illustration going down the left side of his face.
Upon the public unveiling of his face tattoo, sleuths suspected the black rose art to be symbolic of his and Prinsloo's venture into the alcohol business.

On November 16 of 2021, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo released their own brand of rose colored tequila, named Calirosa Tequila.
Regarding the new ink, Levine cleared the public speculation through his Instagram story after his and Prinsloo's red carpet affair.
"This message is for my mother: I do not have a tattoo on my face," the rocker said.
Adding: "Those who know me know I'm too vain. I'm too f*****g vain to get a tattoo on my face."
