TORI Spelling and Dean McDermott’s marriage was “never repaired” after his cheating scandal.
The pair are heading toward an official split as they live “separate lives.”
As rumors continue to swirl that Tori, 48, and Dean, 55, are headed toward divorce, a source told they are "not in a good place and have been evaluating their relationship.”
The insider continued: “It's been very chilly between them for a long time. They have been through the wringer before, but they've always gotten out of it.”
Dean admitted to cheating on Tori in 2014, while the couple spoke openly about Dean’s infidelity on their reality show True Tori.
He later checked himself into rehab following the scandal.
The source told the outlet: "Tori still has major trust issues. Part of their relationship was never fully repaired after he was unfaithful.
"They've been living separate lives. They will still have family meals and occasional outings, but it's for the kids."

Despite the drama, the insider claimed Tori "is determined to come out of whatever happens on top.”
They added: "She's working really hard and has her hands in a lot of things."
A second source told PEOPLE things between Tori and Dean, who share five kids, have "been bad for a really long time, over a year for sure."
STAYING FOR THE KIDS
The insider claimed "Tori doesn't want to break up the family," stating: "She thinks the kids need their dad. These are their fundamental years and they've fought to stay together for the kids."
They added: "Dean has a really, really good bond with the kids.
"He's been a stabilizing force for them."
The insider said the pair still have trust issues, revealing: "Tori still has major trust issues with Dean.
"And he's like, 'We moved on from that.' It's complicated and a very toxic and rocky situation."
A third source said Tori has been "keeping to herself more as the situation with Dean continues to be so up in the air."
Referencing Dean's absence from the family's recent holiday card, the insider said: "It's true he has been in Canada filming.
"But [for Tori] being alone with five kids and expected to handle all the day-to-day responsibilities that come along with that really took a big toll on their relationship."
HOLIDAY CARD DRAMA
Tori added to the split rumors when she revealed the family's holiday card on Monday, which was missing Dean.
In the snap, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star posed with their five kids- Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau- as she held a rooster.
The card read: "Happy holidays. With love, from our farm to your home! xoxo, Tori & Family."
In addition to not being photographed, Dean was also not mentioned in the card.
Tori thanked the company "for once again bringing our happy family to life," calling the card her "favorite holiday card yet."
One Instagram user asked about Dean's absence in the comments section of the post, writing: "Where's your husband."
WHERE'S DEAN?
Dean's snub in the holiday card comes as Tori continues to spend quality time with her kids without her husband.
Tori and the kids previously celebrated the spookiest Halloween with Pennywise the Dancing Clown on Instagram.
More recently, Tori and the kids got into the holiday spirit when they were photographed standing beneath a large mistletoe.
Back in October, Tori was seen leaving a meeting with her lawyer.
She appeared to be having a serious phone conversation, shouting at some points.
