FEAR FEST
Travis was on stage performing when it all went down, as video showed him looking on confused as an ambulance, lights flashing, came toward him and a large crowd.
Houston Fire Chief Sam Peña told on Saturday: "The crowd for whatever reason began to push and surge towards the front of the stage, which caused the people in the front to be compressed — they were unable to escape that situation."
Panic ensued and conditions worsened - security personnel was quickly overwhelmed, according to authorities.
"People began to fall out, become unconscious, and it created additional panic."
More than 300 people had to be treated on site, according to Peña. According to the police chief, 23 people were taken to hospitals to receive further treatment.
