Kelly Osbourne ‘checks into rehab’ for alcohol relapse after celebrating four years sober

KELLY Osbourne has "checked into rehab" after she admitted to having relapsed in alcohol addiction following four year of sobriety.

The famous star, who is the daughter of and , is seeking treatment in an Austin, Texas facility according to .

A source close to the family told the outlet: "The scandal about her mom’s exit from The Talk had a tremendous impact on her.

"At the same time, Ozzy has crippling Parkinson’s disease and excruciating nerve damage. Kelly felt everything hit her at once.”

She added she was taking things "one day at a time"; and said she wanted to tell fans the "truth" because she "never wants to lie" to them.

OPENING UP

Aside from alcohol, Kelly previously admitted she would pass out every night from taking amphetamines, tranquilizers and marijuana.

During her relapse, the 36-year-old also admitted she and 24 cans of beer a day.

Kelly has been quite open with her struggles, even touching on them during a previous , admitting she also abused heroin.

The star Kelly shared she was just 13 when she was given Vicodin, adding that "it went very quickly from Vicodin to Percocet to heroin eventually because it was cheaper."

Kelly has also opened up about undergoing "gastric sleeve" to help her drop 85 pounds, and admitted to being "proud" of the decision.
