Just days before is set to make her debut as host on , the show’s account shared a of Kim and musical guest introducing themselves.
The video begins with Kim, who stands in between Halsey, 27, and SNL star Cecily Strong, stating: “Hi. I’m Kim Kardashian West and I’m hosting SNL this week with musical guest Halsey.”
Cecily, 37, adds: “This crazy thought just occurred to me in this exact moment right now. Should we start our own girl group?”
Halsey quickly says “absolutely not,” while Kim adds: “We already said no when you pitched that backstage.”
Cecily then explains that she wasn’t sure if the reality star and singer heard her idea the first time as she says “security had me in a headlock.”
NOT NERVOUS
In a following version of the promo, Cecily asks Kim if she’s “nervous about doing sketch comedy.”

When Kim asks if she has to “write sketch comedy,” Cecily replied: “No.”
After Halsey tells Kim she doesn’t have to memorize lines because there will be cue cards, Kim wonders if she’ll be the best looking person on the stage.
When the other women confirm that no one else will look as good as Kim, the star tells the camera: “This is so easy.”

Many fans may be surprised by the SKIMS founder’s choice to introduce herself as Kim Kardashian West, as she filed for divorce from , 44, back in February.
The former couple- who were married for nearly seven years- share four kids: North, eight, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two.
Earlier this week, a source exclusively told The Sun that Kim will on the legendary NBC series and plans to “not hold anything back” during her first turn as host.

According to an insider close to , the writers are “impressed” with how much she is “willing to poke fun of herself.”
“They weren't sure how controlling she'd be when it came to the jokes about her personal life. But when it comes to her personally, she told them not to hold back.
“She has heard everything about herself already so she's not sensitive to any of that,” the source said.
The informant also alleged Kim “did give restrictions” when it came to writing about her ex-husband.
“There is a planned Kanye sketch pending approval from him,” they spilled.
The source added that the KUWTK star is working with the rapper to approve of the sketches before they get her official stamp of approval.

“That's where she's being the most careful because if he hates it, they could cut the whole skit,” the insider said.
