Ray J and Princess Love tied the knot in 2016 and have filed for divorce four times since, the most recent filing happening on February 26, 2024.
Why is Ray J filing for divorce from Princess Love?
On Monday, February 26, 2024, Princess Love filed for divorce in Los Angeles County.
This was the couple's fourth time announcing their divorce and the second time Princess Love filed.

- October 6, 2021 – Ray J filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, but filed a request to dismiss his divorce case in March 2023

Princess Love shared a lengthy statement on her social media account, revealing the news before news outlets could break the story.
"Trusting GOD with the next chapter of our lives. Peace and Love. Always," she on her Instagram.
"Dear Friends and Family," she addressed the statement.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce."

As of Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Ray J has yet to comment on the divorce.
Back on October 6, 2021, Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., filed for divorce in a Los Angeles court.
The divorce announcement came after years of struggles, which date back to 2019 when Princess accused Ray of abandoning her and their child in Las Vegas.
The divorce announcement also came just days after the star was hospitalized in October 2021.
Before the third filing, Ray filed for divorce in September 2020 and cited irreconcilable differences as his reason for calling it quits.
In May 2020, Princess was the one who decided to seek a divorce and even filed for full custody of their children.

The duo got engaged in December 2015 before officially tying the knot the following year.
On Friday, August 12, 2016, they exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at the Cathedral of Saint Vibiana in Los Angeles, California.
“I just want her to have the time of her life and remember it as the best day in the world,” Ray J told ahead of the wedding.
“Even when I wasn’t with her, I told my friends ‘She the one, she the one.’ It was just something about how I felt when she was around me.”
The couple's bridal party included rapper The Game and Ray J's famous sister Brandy Norwood.

On May 23, 2018, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Melody Love.
One year later, the couple then welcomed their first son, Epik Ray, on December 30, 2019.
“Becoming a father to Melody was the greatest day of my life, to now relive this feeling of being a father to Epik is the ultimate feeling in the world,” Ray J told on Tuesday, January 6, 2020.
